Up with the birds.. ok maybe 9 am after Shaina darted out the door for work, making coffee. Kaylin even grabbed a cup of my watered down version as she too was off for work before 9:30. We got her a dish of last nights fare too. I headed out to black wax the grey end table. Prince was up a bit later and worked on his GST spread sheet. While out there I glued appliques on the antique dresser and did some wood filler areas. I also started sanding the long dresser top I plan to make into a TV unit.

I hauled in the end table and staged a few photos.

S went out to try setting up the teepee again as a test run for over winter. I had him run close the horse gate and open the yard and approach but Hawk eluded him. I went out and caught him as Travis arrived with 2 dressers sent by Mom around 2, thanks all.

I was reorganizing and cleaning for dresser storage when the family arrived to drop off the desk/vanity and pick up the azure dresser.

S gave me a hand stacking the big dressers and I him with the teepee poles. The day was really lovely out even if only 11, it was sunny and no wind. I refilled the salt/mineral tubs while out there and did some weeding too.

Shaina was home from work after 4, had a snack and hit the shower. We had a later supper which Kaylin caught the end of when home from work after 7:30. They had planned a movie night which Sheldon and I joined them for The Wedding Ringer and I was lucky enough to get a pedicure while watching. I did have to use one of my gift coupons I found from Shaina while desk purging and have some good ones yet to use; like night off cooking and a massache!

girls day off

Everyone has today off.. ok the girls I mean ;) I worked on marketing with a dresser sale set for pickup tomorrow, fingers crossed. Kaylin was up before 10 and by 10:30, she and I along with our chauffeur Prince we were off to town. He dropped us at Amanda's where she put in K's extension while I spent time with the kids. Amanda armed me with a chicken recipe for supper before we headed home after 11:30. Shaina had left for yoga and was not home till mid afternoon.

Sheldon made BLT for lunch then caught a nice nap. K got ready to head to the city and hauled the grey table I did while back and gave it another makeover. This time dark grey, I tried a color block but it is not my style.

After his siesta, Prince went out to cover the baler and move stuff around for winter storage. Shaina arrived home to get ready leaving the gate open and sure enough the horses made their way in, thanks to Prince and the quad they were quickly evacuated. The girls left soon after for the city.

With my table all painted I came in to work in the kitchen while catching Ellen. Cupboards were cleaned out and washed, inside and out with my new orange oil cleaner. Before  I made the chicken recipe AJ sent I had to make Italian seasoning, then got it going and it was cooking while a gal popped out to buy a jacket. S opened the yard gate on his way in for a cold beer.

Mars bar rice krispies were made for dessert, yikes they are sweet folks, a small square is enough. Grey's Anatomy was my evening entertainment and when I thought I was falling asleep at 10 (S had been sleeping for a few hours already), I was revived and kept watching till 1 am. The girls got home at 3 LOL

Desk purge

So what did I do today when the weather was dreary and rainy, I purged my desk. This task took all day. So many papers, files, notepads and office supplies to sort.

Kaylin was up late morning and off around 12:30 for work, Shaina made it up by noon and eventually headed to town to work out. Once back and ate, Yanni arrived for pool & ping pong games and a visit.

Sheldon continued his phone set up and some work emails. He did help sort a bill file for me, thanks Prince. He was off to town after 5 to pick up a parcel for me then off to a rodeo meeting @ 6. Yanni and Shaina went to town for wings around 7. I worked on accounting, always a fun task trying to find Prince's bill to match. He was home after 9 bringing us a burger for a pate supper, thanks. Shaina was home just after 10 and Kaylin by 10:30 with another wii fest challenge ensuing after showers.

B is in London

I awoke with texts and photos from Britt saying she safely arrived in London, yeah!

Shaina was off to yoga mid morning with Kaylin getting up to join us lat morning. Sheldon made us a yummy chicken sandwich for brunch. His day was spent getting his new work phone up and running while I marketed the dining table all over the net and worked on trying to get more items in front of buyers.

Kaylin and Lexi were off to town after lunch to meet Shaina and a friend for a walk as a few sprinkles started to come down but not for long. In town it seems it lasted longer. I headed out to harvest some carrots and water my veggies and evergreen trees in the raised beds as well as flower planters that are still blooming. The garage got a sorting but the next project is unsure due to so much stock to sell yet. So I moved to the storage room for a quick tidy.

The girls were back mid afternoon, Shaina got ready and was off to the city to meet friends for supper. Kaylin worked on organizing her clothes stacked floor and did a great job clearing it.

Britt's schedule. Drizzle was off and on. I did venture out to pick the last of my honey crisp apples, darn birds were just into them, grrr. Shaina was home at 10:30 as I was watching Grey's and Prince was sleeping. Kaylin and I worked on her photos after 11 finding a program to view some she took in raw format. This made her happy as she could not see them without it. Of course I had to watch Netflix till 1 when I was able to chat quick with Britt just getting up for the day ;)
