Grey Cup Sunday

I was up and in the shower around 8:30 having woke up at Har's usual feeding time. The girls moved in from the blow up mattress once S and I headed upstairs for coffee. Sheldon went with Ma and Pa to church after 10 passing Candace as she came in. She and I headed over to her good friend Cheryl's whose Dad is in the Good Sam cottages next to Dad She has a wee house next to her that her Dad lived in prior to that she is offering us to rent for visits. It is a quaint little 100+ year old house with a claw foot bath tub, 2 bedrooms and all the amenities of home in one little place. I think it would work perfect for taking dad to for visits and a place for Mom to stay. It is just down the street from Ma and Pa too.

Back at the town house the girls were up with Shaina working on her laptop. We all enjoyed a nice girls chat over more coffee before the others were back from church. Ma put on another amazing brunch. Sheldon and I headed over to get Dad for the day. He was ready to go of course. Back at the house the girls got Youtube on the smart TV so he could enjoy the NFR rounds with a hot coffee and grapes. Papa and Sheldon watched too adding in saddle bronc then switching to the big Grey cup at 4. The girls played cards.

Candace had ran home for a bit in the afternoon but she and Reese returned as the game started. Reese joined the gals and we played five crowns before declaring a winner and moving on to yet another big supper. We kept Dad for supper having let the gals know he most likely would not be back seeing how much he enjoyed visiting yesterday. We got him back to the cottage after 7 returning to pick up the girls and head home. A quick stop to get tea for the road then westward bound.

We arrived at the ranch at 9:30, I unloaded the car while Shaina went to put the cats away and Sheldon ran to Britt's to pick up Harley. Kaylin and Lexi were off to the city for work in the morning. Shaina was off to soak in the tub, Harley went straight to bed once back, Sheldon to the TV room to watch the end of the football game he missed while driving home and I got a box and packaging for the trinket box and created the shipping label for it before heading to bed to watch more on the Windsors. It was a great family weekend enjoyed by all.
