I was gate man for the 8 loads which made a huge difference and were dumped in the dump trailer. I kept busy raking the hay area and then giving Lola a really good brushing. We finished up at 11 as it started to soften up.
Soup for lunch and a rest in big brown for the prince. I noticed the horses could not get into the salt so went and set up a new bucket secured to the fence. Bird got her new meds and Bandit's eye was doctored . I filled hardware holes on the wood dresser and more in the leg divots at the base. A new tube of walnut filler blew up so it had to be transferred to the light tub I had on the go.
I put a clear stain oil coat on the table then started on the dresser.
S went out to load a pallet of bales coming in for a beer and rest break mid way. I joined in for the beer break sans chair time. I chose a soft purple for the dresser after bouncing around ideas. It had the first coat complete before 5.
my new scraper works well to smooth dried wood filler
S and I went out after supper, he moved the pallet and threw 2 bales on the ranger which I took out to the horses and fed. Britt and Cooper stopped out at 8 to feed Bird her high fat food then were on their way in short order. Our evening viewing was 6 Underground with a smoothie and popcorn. It was an action packed blow'em up kinda show but sure beat the night before.
