Duct Cleaning day

Today is duct cleaning day, in order to decide on the electronic filter Sheldon spent a good part of the day calling fellows in the furnace field and scouring the internet. I had the customer pick up both her chairs just after 10. I perused the internet for dining table planking plans.

Finally I decorated the Christmas tree and filled the hurricane lamp with some too for my extensive Christmas decorations. S rolled out a bale for the horses. I also staged the black chair pics but will share tomorrow.

A custom ruler order rolled in so much time was required to get all details hammered out and start sourcing the Disney font and create proofs. This is very specific done in a Disney theme with 3 kids names etc. Stay tuned

Another sale came in from Etsy, this one for the aqua hanging baskets so I got it all boxed up and a label printed up all ready to drop it off, this one is off to Iowa.

The duct cleaners arrived at 3, first impression was not the A team as promised but off they went. After 2 1/2 hours they were done and honestly we were not overly impressed with the whole thing, guess we will see how the dust fairs going forward. And we did NOT go with the $500 electronic filter.

We worked on the table plans in the garage a bit and got busy on it after we enjoyed a most delicious steak and crab supper. Two hours it took to kreg jig the entire top but it looked great.

It worked best with me on top of the table and pressing down on the hard to clamp areas

The long custom ruler lady called at 10 pm saying she was just leaving Calgary to pick it up. Britt and Lexi pulled in after 10 and soon she was off in the dark to doctor Bird. The city driver called and was lost finding us in the dark and even while staying on the line she was going back and forth down hwy 817. Britt was calling me at the same time finding Hawk in slight distress. While I talked the lady to our house which she missed the approach about 5 times, he ran her out a stethoscope, thermometer and halter and she took him into the barn. I finally got the lady here and the ruler heading back to Calgary and went out to help Britt. She thinks a minor colic so blanketed him to dry up the sweat and we put him and Daisy behind the barn. However when Britt went to check him at midnight they had Houdini'd their way out of the pen I did not secure so well. She did search and find and checked again, thanks B!!
