716 - sun out but still brisk

Day 716 started out a beautiful sunny day but by afternoon clouded over. The temperatures were only plus 9 at the highest.

Today's projects were to buff the wax on the picture frame then to glaze the green chair and  frame

 

After a quick lunch break I stained 3 more rulers and a sign board before removing hardware on the dresser and sanding it then filled nicks. Seems that preparing furniture is the longest part just like preparing to paint walls.

I started to get the numbers marked out on the rulers before
Britt arrived home on the bus and reminded me we were going to go riding at RJ. But we needed to wait for Sheldon as the dump trailer was still hooked up. A landscape company was to come give quote for grass too but they were a no show. Once Sheldon got home he got trailers swapped and we headed over to ride at 5:30 until 7.

When we got home he had the ribs I had simmering on the barbeque and pasta and veggies ready to go :-) I had a dumb move when jumping down off miss KD and popped out my bad knee and it seems the riding did not help my jammed lower back so it was off to soak in the tub after the yummy supper. Shaina messaged she lost first game in tournament by 2 goals but it was the hardest team so they are hoping for 2nd place, She is playing a number one and having a great time. Sharon was kind enough to give Britt a ride to a party at 10 and home by 1. Thanks Sharon!
