710 - projects and electrical

Day 710 was cool and dreary yet again. Britt worked from 10-4:30 today and since Sheldon needed to help Matt get electrical supplies they ran her to work. Craig and Asher stopped out soon after with the repaired truck needing to hook up to the dump trailer and borrow both to haul away trees. While they waited for Sheldon to return they came in for coffee and a visit.
Sheldon and Matt stopped back at about 11:30, Sheldon hooked up the truck and the fellows were off to town. Sheldon and Matt loaded up Diego to go play with Oscar and got supplies from our place and tools and headed to Matt's. Sheldon was back with the skid steer to haul out a bale for the horses and grab some lunch I had whipped up before he returned.
I worked on more furniture projects; I glazed the grey table, sanded and stained some maple boards for measuring charts, painted a board for a sign and spent a ton of time washing and scraping the oval oak table. There was sticky jam and gunk all over the table in cracks and crevices and under it and all over the top. I am not sure how they managed to use it without kids sticking to it, hahahaha. Man it was a well used table!

I ran to town at 4:30 to pick up Britt from work and stopped to pick up some more purchases. Two pine end tables for projects and a lulu item for Kaylin. We also made a quick stop at my work to print some numbers to use as my guide for the charts. Sheldon was home around 4:30 and spent his time playing candy crush for the rest of the evening while watching hockey in front of a fire. When pulling in garage I decided I did not like the glaze so quickly washed most of it off, thank goodness the drying time is forever on that.

I threw together supper then headed back out to the garage to hand paint the numbers and measurement markings on the growth charts and sorting and storing spray paints in my paint cupboard before coming in for a hot bath around 10. I quickly updated the blog before the bath then enjoyed a comfy relaxing read.
