The clocks may have rolled back, but my body didn’t get the memo. Still, I managed to convince myself to fall back asleep until the new 8:30. In the city Renn was up at 7 for the day, darn time change!
Morning coffees were made and delivered for a cozy start in bed before Sheldon got up, dressed, and headed off to church.
When I first woke, the air was calm—but by the new 8:30, the wind had returned in full force, blowing hard all day until supper. It was far too wild for horse feeding; their hay would’ve ended up somewhere in Saskatchewan! So, instead, I threw in a load of laundry, started a blog post, and went back to tackling my ongoing photo project.
I’ve managed to upload about 30 GB so far to OneDrive—just a few years’ worth! I kept sorting through older photos on the external hard drive, aiming to get everything backed up properly.
Sheldon returned home from church and settled into Big Brown with his laptop for a lazy afternoon browse. B popped out midafternoon, hoping to feed her horses but the feed had to been soaked—oops sorry. Instead, she trimmed Beibs feet then headed downstairs to watch her beloved Chiefs take on the Bills while she waited as she does not have cable TV anymore.
Even before the game wrapped up, she went out to feed the horses, then she and Cooper headed home—she could always catch the score online. S took a nap, then resumed his quiet online perusing once he woke.
He did, however, make one specific request: lasagna for supper. I made it up, popped it in the oven, and we enjoyed the warm, cheesy casserole as the wind finally died down and the sun set.
With the weather calm again, it was the perfect time for a hot tub soak under the evening sky. Later, we started a movie but gave up after half an hour—it was just too weird—then switched to Who Killed the Montreal Expos?. S started dozing partway through, so we shut it off and called it a night.

We are forced to live with the time change just as we have no option about wind or no wind. I wish we had a wand to change that when it blows out of control! Sounds like you are making good progress with your photos.
