Family Thanksgiving supper

I got coffee going inspiring S to get moving. He was heading early to church then meet with the renters to renegotiate their rental contract. I prepped the turkey and it in the oven. Marketing was up next. B and cooper arrived. She put the cushions out on the deck furniture. It was another beauty day out. Perfect to enjoy some deck time later.  I dug a hill of fresh potatoes. They were prepped along with Brussel sprouts to roast later. S was back home with beer, oil and a few other goodies around 11:30.

Lunch with Dave arriving to join us for a cold beer. B was riding Roo after finishing feeding. She was in to eat too.

ewww look at the stuff coming out on the ground

S went out to flush his fuel tank. I gave him a hand. Kaylin, Nathan and our sweet Renn arrived as we finished up. How sweet is our little princess. I got in some snuggles before Ma & Pa K and Mom & Dad arrived not long after around 3. Everyone visited in various spots including the sunny warm deck. Cards were played. Refreshments drank. The 27 lb turkey was perfectly cooked at 325 for 4 1/2 hours. (this will be for my memory bank LOL) S came in to carve it all up. The veggies were tossed in and our Thanksgiving supper was enjoyed.

Kaylin, Nathan and Renn headed home just before 7. S and I loaded Dad up. He and Mom were off too. A few rousting card games ensued. Table crib then canasta. B and D along with Cooper and Gulliver left at 10.
