There was another bit of rain just after Cooper was dropped off but gone once we were up for coffee. The sun popped out as I scooped poop and water my planters. S blew out the travel trailer water system. He then hooked up the water tanks under the deck as both nearly full again. As we were out doing the yard work the wind picked up and clouds rolled in. BRRR! Sharon was back from her riding lesson. My paint parcel was delivered right behind her. I helped her unload horses. A short visit to catch up and she was off. Time for a bite of lunch for S & I.
Waiting for the dog food delivery S and I set up legacy contacts on our phones. Did you know this is an option? We also researched travel insurance. This is a first as for the last 33 years we have always had it covered with work benefits. I also cashed in our rewards cash on credit card after finding they do cover 2 million for travel insurance.
Mom called at 3 to say she made it to town and was filling with fuel. We headed in and met her at Sagewood. Boxes were carried in and Dad’s room packed up. I also gave him foot massages and tea tree oil treatments which put him to sleep for a bit. Shaina drove out from the city to help. She and Sheldon moved all the furniture and boxes down to the front entry. I helped Dad with supper. I swapped Shaina off from loading stuff into the the utility trailer Mom brought so she could go visit Grandy. We finished it all up by 6.
We swung by Paetz’s to pick up Clover and her accessories. she will stay with us till they are back home Saturday night. Britt was here and had fed the dogs. Shaina was ahead of us too. We all had chili and a visit. Brit and Cooper set off. The 3 of us hit the hot tub for a soak and more visiting. Mom was out after 9 catching a visit with Shaina before she headed home before 10. I booked Britt’s flight to Palm Springs! We wrapped up visiting heading to bed. Clover jumped up to find her night spot too. Both S and I read for awhile.
