Lex helping me water .. and check out the bees in this poppy.. 10 hard at work!
The fog was lifting now but it stayed a cooler day. Sheldon ran to get the drill to reseed the hay field yet again. We had an early brunch tuna croissant and he headed out to seed while I got to work on the antique dresser Jean brought. I stripped and sanded the top then scrubbed the entire thing well then left to dry while I updated the blog. I noticed the tractor/drill unit had shut down so Lexi, Lola and I hiked a cold beer over to find the new A/C compressor had blown up spraying oil everywhere and on fuming driver fixing it.
One of my great customers dropped off a kids table and chair and stool for me yesterday while I was gone, thanks Jess.
Kaylin did go to work today for 1:30. She was a bit apprehensive but it went ok. Her wonderful staff gave her an awesome care package full of her favorite things such as bath bombs, candles, candies, Starbucks mug and gift card, supplies for her fav turkey wraps, donuts & a memory blanket. She is surrounded by so many caring people in so many areas of her life, I am so happy work is one of those places too. XOXO
Time to get outside and prune roses, tulips, etc and pull more weeds. The 2" of rain helped the pulling part. Sheldon finished up the grass seeding just before supper so I helped him hook to the truck then got supper going. We ate once Britt got home then Sheldon took the seeder back.
Lexi wanted to copilot the seeder back ;)
I hit the shower before we started another Fearless episode but Prince was asleep in no time so I worked on writing the cedar chest blog post as well as one for Hometalk. I was just turning off the rodeo after midnight when Kaylin arrived after her long day. I helped her haul in some more goodies before leaving her and Lexi to catch some sleep. XO
