Archer turns 1

As much as I wanted to sleep in of course I could not, oh well. Britt was up ans ready to head to town at 8:30 and was off soon after to get her car to the tire shop. Shaina was a bit slower leaving for her 9 am shift which really wasn't until 10:30 with a detour to her doctor appointment which actually was for next week but they let her sneak in ;)

Britt's car was not going to be like the hour or two they had quoted so I got dressed and headed in at 9:30 to pick her up. She and I got groceries, liquor stock up and the mail and SHE bought me a tea along with her coffee and muffin, hahaha Thanks B.

Back at the ranch with goodies unloaded, I got to work of the dining table once again. Today was to age the crisp white base which I started with a grey wash but went to grey wax.

then I put out a poll to keep toes brass or spray paint, so far original is winning,
whats your vote?

Britt was tiding her room on her day off but managed to wet down the arena for us to ride. It was another sunny 20 day but windy. She even caught Pepper for a bit of lesson work and found Bird feeling much better and gave a light riding and liniment. Switch did well too wearing her wraps with no issues. Hopefully at Sundays jackpot them and the bell boots are not a big deal.

We headed back to town at 5 to meet Shaina and Kaylin at Opa for supper. Then we all were off to watch Ada's soccer game

then back to the house for cupcakes to celebrate master Archer's first birthday!!! So sweet, crazy how time flies.

Shaina was off home first to spend some time with Brad before he heads out to a new job early in the morning for 6 weeks. Kaylin was a bit after stopping to visit Gail before heading home then Britt and I were off after 8 checking a no go dresser on the way. (no matter how many times they swear it is solid wood, plywood is not solid wood... it is just heavy solid because of layers of wood lol) Back home I taught B how to unhook the horse trailer seeing she needs the truck to drive to work for the next few days.
