school starts for Shaina but day off for B

I was up early at 7:30 and it looked dark to the west, more rain coming maybe? A quick check showed we got 3/10ths of rain overnight and with yesterdays drizzle. There are even puddles in the yard. Britt has no class today so is having a sleep in. Today is Shaina's 1st day of school !! Yeah Dude!

Time to get some new projects on the go. I worked on the one dresser filling dings, sanding the top and black painted side and adding legs!

Once Britt was up and had her coffee and toast, she and I rode, she ponying KD along too then the two went to graze more int he round pen.

Shaina arrived at 2 after her first big school day, B visited a bit then headed to Olds at 2:30, not long after she got there, she sent this updated picture of her new storage shelf all set up!

Shaina and I rode, she again took KD along. Once back, I let horses all out in paddock

then she went to last mens night after 4 but I quickly snapped her back to school picture!!

Sheldon home at 6 with a couple groceries and beer for the week ;)

 the horses took a break to come in for water then hustled back out to the winter pasture

after supper we went out in the golden glow (my favorite time of day) for a nice walk

 and closed the gate

 and before coming in we caught Daisy & Baby (not willingly of course) and put them back in the paddocks then enjoyed yet another amazing sunset
