Britt moved to Olds

Big day for Britt, she was up and ready to roll as we were having our coffee. Her clothes filled her car to the brim but left front seat for me.. and Coco. Sheldon loaded the bikes and I helped him load the dresser.. now all ready to roll so off we went by 10. At Tim's Sheldon was not behind us but soon called to say the dresser was no longer in the truck.. nope he had not strapped it with the deep freeze nor laid it down like he had me message a customer last week when they picked up a hutch. Sure enough it was less then a km from our approach in very rough shape after skidding down the highway.

We continued on to Olds and spent the day un loading and arranging while Sheldon installed outlets for the one gal in the basement. I should have looked better at the dresser when we pulled up behind Sheldon as I thought it looked repairable, but once I had a look in Olds it was not even close to being ok to use ;( Perhaps it was Sunday but the odds of finding a used sturdy dresser in Olds was fruitless and new particle board with mactac wood was not appealing. In the end we found baskets and got most of her room set good to go. We took the girls for supper then headed home around 4:30.

Coco was happy to help

Passing by Costco we made a quick, 11 minutes to be exact, in to grab meat and continue hoping arriving by 5:30.  Then it was off home to unload and repack meat and freeze. Pretty successful day
