The warm Chinook winds continued at +3, though the day was dreary and overcast. Lately, I seem to have become Harley’s personal butler, as the deer and bison on the menu requires a middle-of-the-night outings. I was making coffee when S woke after the most refreshing sleep he has had in ages—he claims he never even moved all night, despite spending much of the previous day in bed and in Big Brown. I finished and published yesterday’s blog, then jumped in the shower.
Out to the garage next to sand and distress the pine shelf while S perused his laptop. He did take Harley for a short walk, and once they were back, I fed her a late breakfast. Shaina is on her way back to Ottawa early this morning.
I posted it for sale on a few sites, then completed the tutorial so it will be ready to share in a week or so. Garage tasks followed—laundry, sweeping, and general tidying. S was home with Cooper before 4:30, so I fed the dogs. He spent some time on his phone after seasoning the steaks while I cut fresh veggies and prepped potatoes for baking. Supper was cooked despite the ongoing wind challenge.
After supper, I returned to the new series I started last night—homes around the world. The first episode, a house inside a greenhouse in Sweden, completely won me over. The second, set on the south side of Chicago, lost me, so I skipped ahead to Bali, a vacation destination high on my bucket list. S was watching a bareback documentary, Hell on Wheels: Rocker Steiner, before moving on to sports. I started yet another new series on Apple TV as the Chinook winds continued to howl loudly into the night.

I came home early from work. Trav had trouble with the tractor slipping where it was not to be. He called for my help to drive the other tractor. I called Dale! The storm really began to hit! The yard is almost impossible to walk or drive. Seems the event at Crossroads on Saturday is cancelled. So we can all go to Ron's Christmas party at 2 p.m. I haven't heard if Sunday gymkhana is a go or not. Extremely busy with ads and news for this last edition of the Echo.
