When I went to take of blanket and masks I found Miss Switch had removed her own; naughty but smart girl. H was fed and coffee made with Deb joining us. Chuck had taken his truck to the Ford dealer for an appointment at 8:30 and joined us once the shuttle brought him back. Laundry continued all day in both machine sets catching everyone up. After our morning visit S went to start moving bales and I to water my garden and lanterns. It is another doozy of a hot one out today. Chuck worked on his razor clutch issue and Deb uploaded photos, laundry and made some phone calls.
For lunch Deb and I created a Mexican collection; Fuego fried shrimp, guacamole, avocado tomato salad, fruit salad and bean dip. S stopped for lunch then back at it to finish getting all in by 3. After lunch Schmitt’s were off to their trailer for a relax and I scrubbed dog dishes, lunch dishes and then worked on Friday’s blog post having to edit and upload photos. Schmitt’s were picked up after 3 by the shuttle to go pick up their truck and I worked on blog on iPad while S relaxed in big brown and we tried to plan our w/e.
Kaylin, Nathan and Lexi arrived at 4 for a quick visit and drop Lexi off. Schmitt's were back having ran errands and gotten their vehicle to join in on the visiting. The city couple had to head back at 5:30 as Kaylin had a client at 6:45. Tomorrow they are off to Kelowna to Nathan's parents for 6 days.
We all loaded up in sadie and headed to the Paetz planation for supper. Before barbequing though the fellows headed over to their old house to remove the hot tub wire and load up the skating rink boards. The girls visited and enjoyed fresh cut veggie appetizers. Once back Craig cooked up the most delicious steaks to go with more goodies Amanda had made. THANK YOU!! We enjoyed a cocktail before we set off to see Britt's place after 9. A quick tour and visit with Dave and Cooper and we were off for home before 11 where all headed to bed. THANKS to Debby for many of the photos I have been sharing for the last months blog events!!
