Bison pickup continues

Harley wanted out for a pee at 6:30 then again at 7. The snow was falling soft and fluffy and coming down pretty good. I crawled back in bed but she was restless from then on eventually joining Papa for breakfast at 8. We were up not long after to get a coffee and S toast. He was off to pickup the bison before 9 and not back till 10. In the meantime I called Dad for a short visit and he sounds excited for his birthday tomorrow. I sure hope he likes the surprise party. It was super icy while walking Harley with the underlying frozen rain from last night.

It was a quick goodbye loading H and heading west after 10. So fast I forgot the yummy potato salad in the fridge :( The snow blew off and on and the roads were icy too. We arrived home after 12 with our road to the hwy now changing to 80 km/hr the entire way. I had forgotten H food so she was happy to get fed, she did enjoy a fresh bone S gave her for part of the ride home to tide her over.

S was busy right away with customers stopping for the next 3 plus hours. Amanda and Ada dropped off cupcakes for the party too amid the coming and goings. Over stoked in kombucha I made bottled a plain ginger batch and did not make a new batch. I need Shaina back to help consume more. After the last person got their meat it was time to organize the freezers. Furniture was moved around under the hoist to move the one fellows new freezer too and put his and a couple other folks in. Our new one was sited after moving "stuff" and sweeping and the little ones repositioned. Our bison and the last few packs to pick up later were all secured in a freezer and all are FULL!

I cooked a seasoned shrimp HF meal for supper which was really tasty. B and Coop popped out to do their thing. After they were off, we hit the tub to soak with a fancy bath bomb followed up with some relaxing in bed with a delicious honey yogurt and fruit bowl.
