Ranahan day 2 - finals

Not sleeping well thru the night, I was up at 8 and hauled the horses hay. Britt was soon behind me with the pellets. We grabbed Tim's coffee and a muffin for the sleeping Prince on this Father's Day . Not long after it was time to get ready, tack up for B&B as well as Pepper riffing and then off for Britt's first game of the day. they again won is very easily, unfortunately there was only 2 A teams so all play is with same team. They would play them yet again for a 4th game after lunch.

Shelby found her horse and herself (allergy ridden) wanting to forfeit the game after 2 chukkas. My team played right after at our 2 pm final but this time we had some heavy competition coming from their win to reach the finals before lunch. They gave us a good run an in the end we lost 5-2 ;( So close to a big win but we will take it.

Britt had to ref our final game so had a pile of riding this w/e, well done Britt. We got everyone untacked, everything loaded before heading to awards. Britt as an A winner got an awesome chair and 2nd place gave me a bright bucket and riding socks. It was now around 4 so horses loaded and headed east. Once back home and horses and the piles of stuff unloaded a brief rain blew thru leaving a gorgeous evening. we all however were happy to soak off the grime and relax for the evening. I went thru the 250 photos taken over the w/e, posted them and wrote the blog..whew! Then as Prince slept I caught up a few more Netflix episodes.

Today is also Father's day, Happy Father's day to the Dad's in my life!!
