Day 998 is our last day to pack, tomorrow we will be on a hot tropical beach with a slushy drink in hand! Sheldon got busy packing his bag, it seems yesterdays packing included getting his suitcase out and finding his shoes only!! I finished my fine tuning of both checked and carry on. I am the travel agent so need to have itinerary, passports for all, medication for plane, currency, camera for photos just to name a few.
It was then time to start tidying the house vacuuming up all Lexi hair and getting things neat. As a child I always wondered why Mom was adamant about leaving the house tidy basically vacuuming us out the door, I thought no one will see it while we are gone! But now as that parent, there is no better treat then to come home from your vacation to a tidy house!
Flogging the girls was a bit harder as it seems they too must have my thoughts as a child. Sheldon took another bale out to hold the ponies over for the week. The weather was gorgeous as they forecast but will see if we reach the high of 13 they say.
We all headed to town for our last tan at 2, Shaina drove separate to go workout after. we ran to marks to get Sheldon another pair of sunglasses, a hot tea, wash the truck (Thanks Britt) and deposit her cash at the bank before coming home. Our roofing guy was here to check the vent issues. The weather was so nice for skidooing Sheldon went out to burn around for a bit. It only hit plus 7 but still very nice, will be nicer where we are tomorrow :-) Britt had a shower and gave Coco a scrub at the same time. I washed her bed all up so she is smelling good to go for her week at Stouts.

After putting out minerals and salt for the horses and putting her packed bag at the door, Britt headed to town around 6 to have supper and visit with friends. Pizza was our easy supper but it was only Sheldon and I as Shaina opted out still in her room I think attempting to pack. She did vacuum basement under force before she too went to town around 8 to visit a friend. I went to the garage and put a 3rd coat of varathane on the tables and fiddled with the dresser touching up, wet distressing and repainting lol. Sheldon watched the hockey game. We will take Coco to Stouts in a bit for her stay with her daughter. Time to relax until we head to the airport about 2:30 am, meet Kaylin and Aaron then flying out at 6 am! Adios amigos!! See you in a week!
