B was up early. She fed her dog and cat, made a coffee, grabbed her lunch and off to work for the day. We had our coffees. I worked on marketing. S on his computer. The sewer truck arrived just before 9. The septic tank cleaner was done in less then half an hour. Not bad cash for that amount of time but I don't think you could pay me to do it. $350 well spent :)
not a bear hug but rather a cat hug ;)
S loaded the bottles in the truck. It looks like we might drink a few cans over the year. We headed to the city to try a new bottle depot. It was much cleaner and organized. It turns out we had 1688 cans and 120 larger bottles for a total of $198.80. The front end fellow let me know about a tip jar. He was happy I put the change. Bottles paid for half the septic cleaning :)
We drove thru A&W for lunch. S then dropped me at Kaylin's. He was off to a dr appt. Renn was just fed and super smiley. A diaper change and I rocked her to sleep. S was back after 2. A short visit with K, Nathan and his parents (here for a weeks visit) then we were off. It was now raining but quit as we drove thru the south side of the city.
We arrived back home to find the rain stopped at the usual 2 miles north of us. Nothing at the ranch. I made a pizza for supper. It was unique with leftover cheeseburgers and corn.
raining in town to north
and highway to our place dry to south
We took the dogs for a walk after supper. They were a bit stir crazy after their day inside. Back at the house Sharon was finishing up her Timba chores. As we visited B arrived home around 7:30. Been awhile since a 12 hour day for B. She fed Bird. S went over to Matt's to do some skid steer work. B came in for pizza. We ventured out for a late hot tub. Crazy timing. We closed it up, came in for a shower and heard thunder. A few minutes later the wind picked up and then the rain came down. Crazy! It did not rain long but glad to see it. It was just over a 1/10th. We finished Kaleidoscope.
