Lake visit

The day started very overcast and dreary so I spent the morning stripping out my pantry and reorganizing, yeah!! S loaded 3 loads of bales for the neighbor getting all of the bales off except the one last regular buyers 25. He watered trees between loads.

Lola's 8 week (one week early) exam was moved up to 1 so after a tuna sandwich we loaded her up and headed to town. Dr Dave gave her a doing very well but not all healed (will take awhile longer) report. Next stop was to Gary's to borrow a drill bit for some machinery update. Seeing we were in town I loaded up Cooper to take to the ranch.

Fuel up the merc and load up on liquor, grab the mail and back to the ranch. The sun had come out around noon but was now threatening and we even went thru rain on the drive home. We were invited to join Sharon and Darren at Crawling Valley reservoir where they have a lot so we loaded up some beverages, sunscreen clothes and prepped to head out. However the dogs decided to go on a walk about so we had to grab the ranger and hustle them home (or in Lola's case give a lift)

We headed east at 3. A visit with her parents thru some rain, clouds but mostly sun was enjoyed. They treated us to a smokie barbeque after her parents were off then a boat ride and a campfire. S was not lucky in the fishing area but Darren caught 3 off the hop then came up dry too. The fancy smores were the perfect dessert. We headed home at 10, THANKS for the hospitality Stouts!! XOXO

Back at the ranch I took Lola for her walk while S unloaded the cooler. Then it was off to the cozy bed. It seems that after over 9 weeks of pills morning and night I forgot Lola's evening pill, oops.
