Then it was time to organize the Sanford yard around the shop. B and Cooper popped out around 12:30 and she got busy raking up the hay on the grass where bales were stored. Finishing up at the shop around 1 I came in to make up the pizza. B picked and sprayed all horse hooves. S loaded up B's poop loads and ran them to the dump, well done team. B had also picked up a "wine Fairy" gift that was delivered for me at the gate. How sweet, thank you fairy friend!!
Pizza was served before 2 with fresh avocado and tomato salad, so good. Once done, B was back out to picking fresh poop in the one paddock while S napped in big brown and I did some marketing and blog catch up. At 3 I headed out to seal the stools while B was on to sweeping the barn. She came to ask S for assistance moving the stack of bales so he went out and lifted the skid up to the mez again. They also harrowed the arena then.
B caught and rode Bird then fed her. I was out hand rototilling my largest raised garden. I finished it up at 5 and moved on to washing garage items only to find Cooper had redug the garden. B leveled the dirt and was off to ride Pepper and pony KD and the darn dog dug more and deeper. After her ride she leveled dirt again, loaded up Cooper and on her way home at 6:30.
We jumped in the ranger with some beverages and winter coveralls and headed over to Stouts for a visit around the campfire. Perfect outdoor social distancing and a great catch up. I did get a message from the chair buyer with the upsale table to refinish that her husband lost his job and would not be buying chairs or having table done, rats. After a fun night we headed for home at 11.
While Darren was away Tiger decided his paralyzer was pretty tasty
