off to the races again

Sunday July 15, yikes. Time is speeding by. I staged the jewelry box for the customer and shared. It was a hit.

We loaded up and were off to the races at 12:30 making it just in time for the first race at 1:15. Dave's driving won both B and S cash that started their day of gambling. It was a sunny 27 so between races we found shade.

first bet = first win

Again Britt did not send me any race photos but hope she will some day ;)

Heading home after race 10 we swung thru town to get burgers for supper. B napped while I watered my plants, garden and flower beds and Sheldon organized hay. He delivered 15 large round to Stouts and in between loads organized 2 rounds of small bale pickers, 1 getting 25 and the other 30. He picked up some more for us out of the freshly hayed winter pasture and cleaned up the broke ones in the pasture on his way back.

The custom jewelry armoire was picked up then I worked on gluing 2 joints on the table with one being very challenging due to a past repair with nails. Britt woke up and rode and ponied horses and as she finished up around 9:30, Dave came out. A fire was enjoyed by them while I caught up on starting some how to blog posts. Prince was in at midnight and the other 2 wrapped up the fire around 12:30.

I forgot to mention yesterday was Kaylin's last day at Sephora after 5 1/2 years working there. It was bittersweet she said leaving but is looking forward to what lies ahead and has her eyes still set on returning to school to take ultrasound technician. You go girl XOXO She has another new serving job on Stephen's Avenue mall at a place called the Warehouse starting last weekend. I hope her 2 serving places earn her the cash she wants to travel this fall and then get into school.
