Family Days

Monday February 16 already.. is family day. Britt has the entire week off school too. Shaina is coming out to join us, just missing the Miami kids! Sheldon tried to get a start on the girls taxes but not much luck as not all T4's in. We were going to walk the dogs and hoped to trail ride but there was a biting cold wind, yuck. Shaina and Lexi arrived later in the afternoon, many games ensued with the girls beating the parents in canasta quite badly. A super delicious steak supper was enjoyed, more games then we all watched St Vincent with a big bowl of popcorn! Great family day with my family!

Tuesday, poor Britt was sick all night and spent the day in bed, she had a day off and spent it trying not to puke ;( Shaina was up, made eggs and visited before heading home just before lunch. It was nice we got the family games night in before B was sick again. Sheldon and I went to town to tan and run errands. Today was not much nicer than yesterday. Britt was feeling a bit better by supper to shower and join us. After supper we watched a couple movies, Alexanders Horrible No Good Very Bad Day and Dumb & Dumber To.


Wednesday found Britt feeling better joining us for a coffee meeting with our investor Craig :-) Today hit a high of 6 and the wind was gone but not much sunshine. The weather is all over the board they say, mostly above but Saturday is to be back to -11 and snowing. Today everyone just did their own tidying day, Britt her room, Sheldon tried to grade the road unsuccessfully and I finished up household chores. Britt was off to work 3-8 with a staff meeting after. Sheldon did manage to pack his clothes today so we have progress for the trip. I finished the last 3 Book of Negroes I had PVr'd then caught a Parenthood while Sheldon watched sports. Quite a relaxing quiet day to be had. And  only this one picture in 3 days!
