Finally the hens started laying again so the egg lady dropped 6 dozen off, yay! Amanda and Shaina, your eggs are here! This also allowed me to make banana bread too on this chilly winter day.
The ruler of course had a few challenges but eventually I left well enough alone. I managed to fit most of season 4 of The Killing today and a couple The 100.
Britt was home from work at 3, off a bit early thanks to Lynda esp since she forgot her lunch. She played her Sims game while I made us an actual full fledged supper. She headed back to the gym to work out after 6. Once back home she fed the cats while Amber and Kyra arrived. They were off to a party down the road. Crazy, it hit the high around 8 this evening of -4, will there be a few days break to the deep freeze?
I am trying to get a list of my favorite things, one I have on the list has me unsure if have in top ten. David's Tea has chocolate, who knew.. Sharon had a box in my birthday gift, salted caramel milk chocolate, it is delicious with only 1 problem.. it has tea in it that tastes and feels like burnt tree bark, so the down side takes it off the list I think.
It is a chinook as the wind blew and at 10 pm the temperature is -3! just as the girls set off to the party. By the time I finished season 4 of the killing (and more ruler mucking around) at 12 it was -2 but the wind howled, I put yet another coat of poly on the ruler then it was time to read till 1:30 and the girls arrived safely back home at 2.
