I made todays project painting, spraying hardware white, waxing, distressing, painting some more and then adding pewter mica and wax to the white jewel box. I like to make more work for myself as once I had it all back together I thought it needed more hence the distressing and rewaxing. this also meant recleaning, vacuuming & sticky papering the velvet again etc. WHY? cause I imagine if it was mine would I be happy :-)
I waxed the blue blackboard, assembled the blackboard into the frame and staged it for auction.
I also painted 2 coats of yellow on the dry erase/black board, distressed it and waxed 2 coats staging it for auction too. I started the large blackboard frame putting a coat of custom blue green.
Shaina joined us for lunch then putzed around heading to work at 6-9:30 at the gym. Britt worked at 5:30 so stayed after school picking up a tool for Sheldon and coming home after work around 8.
Sheldon managed to hang a towel rack in the girls bathroom and prepare the wiring for the waste disposal after his long morning of online shopping. After a bit of coaxing he cooked up a spectacular steak supper, Thanks Hun!! After supper he enjoyed the Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary show.
I went back out and painted a 2nd coat of blue/green on the giant blackboard frame after a quick sand and buffed up the repainted and waxed jewel box drawers claiming it complete.. until tomorrow :-)
this is when thought done the first time, note no distressing, client loved it but I didn't so back out I went
see tomorrow for final finished photos
