S was up early and made coffees in bed — actually two rounds each — while I chatted with Mom for over an hour and a half. He scrolled online beside me before stepping outside for a phone call as I published a blog post and got ready for the day still chatting with Mom.
By 10:30 S tossed horses some hay before we headed out to vote, a quick in-and-out trip, then came back home for leftover lunch. S left for hockey just after noon, and I dove into working on the photo-heavy Vegas blog posts. You may want to check back thru the posts as I have found photos and videos I missed on some days and have added.
By 2, I needed a break, so Harley and I went for a lovely walk in the mild 10°C weather. S returned from hockey before 4, having picked up Cooper and enjoyed coffee with the hockey boys. He suggested a hot tub, and off we went — such a treat on a calm, sunny afternoon. Back inside, I fed the dogs while he perused Jeep repairs.
We got things ready for our Paetz–Kuhn Blue Jays Game 7 party. S grilled burgers to go with the salad I made, and he added a sausage roll to the mix for good measure. The game kicked off just after 6 p.m.
B had finished her trimming and left after I did, and the Paetz crew headed home just after 10. S and I wrapped up the night in bed, catching the highlights while I wrote today’s blog on my iPad — the perfect end to a great day and a fantastic Jays win!

A busy day! Lots of cheering ;-)
