Britt worked after school all 3 days, raking in the cash! Shaina on the other hand not so much, seems the golf course is slowing down. Poor Kaylin drove out today for her last shift there, had a visit with us, hit the gym and got the call she was not needed so back to the city she went ;-(
I got lots organized and tidied in the garage, I brought in the blue and white and staged then posted for sale.
I finished the old musty dresser I nearly declined but glad I put the 10 hours of hard work into it.
using the crappy drawer for the shelf bottom.. bright light idea
and like most other things in life, I learn to do something because I fake knowing how, how hard can it be to cut this old board into a back rail 2" X 1 3/4"... easy!! I love wood working, this may become a habit. No more waiting for a carpenter who cuts it wrong when he does anyway!
and I can plane wood
and install new shelf supports.. glue and clamps help that!
and check out this paint I claimed at the recycling depot.. PERFECT!!
and if a old drawer is stained and grungy, paint it the pretty paint,
Now this framed mirror.. not so much, after much time wasted wedging the back off I finally found many of the mullions glued to them and the mirror squares with cement. Eventually I got the back off but not without breaking another pane and cutting myself trying to get the glued portions chipped off the mullions. GRRRRR
I finally just chose a color for the black end tables hardware and assembled it. Now to sell. I also put o 2 more coats of top coat on them and the entire blue dresser set after getting advice from APC seller! Thank goodness it is no VOC and no fumes so did this right where they were displayed.
I dropped off a set of pumpkins for Mom with Amanda while into see acupuncturist Wednesday as well as take Diego to vet. Another $320 to ex-ray and test urine but no results until we take him back Monday for his neutering. The rest of the sets were picked up over last few days with last set going tomorrow. I also had one buyer bring 3 shelves to have custom shabby chic painted.

Sheldon tried acupuncture in town. He spent some time pressure washing the house, windows and deck floor but sadly it did not make much difference. He took down temporary paddock fence making it look tidier and safer for the upcoming winter. He also got a chance to grade the road with all this moisture.
The old working dryer was picked up by a grateful young man, the 2 non working washers were loaded up and taken to recycle facility and a free one picked up (thanks Shaina & Sheldon) and this time it worked, fingers crossed. I gave them a test drive with my huge dirty rag pile and they both worked and nice white, upgrade from almond set ;)
