Glasses arrived for what the 5th time?

Monday again, the days seem to fly by. It was a usual morning of H care, she and I let the kitties out in the sunshine. Harley got the remaining half a bison roast the kitties have been working on for months. I cleaned off my desk and sink as morning chores :) Once S was up he spent the morning cleaning up his phone screen as he has so many apps.

The well was checked by a half ton early morning then a rig and water truck showed up around noon. I cooked us up the last Hello Fresh turkey scaloppini for a big lunch. As I was making it, Kaylin called with update from Lexi's specialist appointment with sad news. She does need her eye removed ($2900) and the other which has a cataract that may turn into glaucoma like the right eye should be removed as well. They would do both for $5200!

Lunch was delicious. Sheldon played a bit of ball with Harley then was loaded up and off early before 1:30 heading to the rental first then doing a return at Costco on way to airport. Shaina was loaded up and heading west soon after. She has an apartment to check out in the city then heading to Banff to finish up her busy check in day.

I had a message my glasses were finally found, the new lenses in and ready so I too plan to head to town. S called forgetting the for rent sign so I found it, dusted it off and changed to his phone number . Harley was loaded up and off we went dropping him the sign first. Next stop grab my glasses then Cooper with the final stop to grab a chai tea and carrot cake muffin.

Back home Harley came in to nap and Cooper went for a venture. She eventually went out when I went to garage to paint a 3rd coat on the little white table. I was test driving my new progressive office desk lens and NOT a fan. The sweet spot is so limited. Dogs both came in for a short nap while I caught up some computer work still trying the glasses with no luck.

I took the dogs out for a walk after 5. The plus 10 weather again has more snow gone and lots of mud so they were dirty. Back at the house they played while I scooped more revealed poop piles around the yard, put the kitties away and was playing ball with them when Britt rolled in before 7. She helped me hose off Harley then she quickly did Cooper and was off for home.

H napped in her kennel to dry off while I did end of day computer tasks. Supper was light seeing lunch was a full meal deal. I made kale salad with a pepperoni stick on the side and my carrot cake muffin for dessert! At 8:30 I headed to bed where I started a new series called The Arrangement. It is ok but not sure about it.

Lovely Family Sunday

H was up at 6:30 so I let her out to do her business then tucked her back in kennel till 8 am for breakfast :) It is a beautiful sunny non windy day! S got coffee going serving the first cup in bed. I jumped in shower quick then did a wee bit of marketing before making crepes and cutting fresh fruit. K and S were rousted up at 10 to enjoy them. Britt arrived to get hers hot too. 

We played cards until Sheldon had to go show the rental to a couple and Britt was off to Costco for groceries. K, S and I played cards before K sugared both Shaina and my eyebrows. THANKS again K for your great personal hair removal care. S was back around 2:30 to join everyone for a snack and beverage. I took H for a walk after the dogs had a rest and S joined me. It was soooo nice out, just like spring hitting PLUS 9. Shaina had some programs to do while K took a shower.  Back at the house we chipped more on the firepit ice block had a margarita while I brushed Harley in the sunshine. Then S and I gave her a bath outside and inside to dry.

The girls took Lexi to town to walk and will return with Chinese food at 6. I worked on the blog while S went to fill skid steer with fuel and finish hooking up air hose. We all enjoyed Chinese once they were back just before 6. THANKS Shaina for "cooking" supper tonight! Kaylin and Lexi headed back to the city after 6:30, nice having you for a visit my lovely! XOXO S put kitties away then down to TV room for another Flames game. Shaina was off to her room to do whatever and I got yesterdays blog finished and posted and worked on todays with my iPad and episodes of Blown Away. I LOVE blown glass!! I headed to bed around 8:30 and started a new series called Firefly Lane.

I think Harley is prepping for time change or more likely loves her new food but was up at 6:20. She did lay quietly on the carpet for a bit then I let her out and back in kennel till 7:30 ish when I gave her breakfast. S made his coffee and after a couple went and let kitties out but it is an overcast dreary day. I took photos of H to have as reference to the date and start of raw diet.

Time to get the custom table painted, first coat before lunch and the second after leftover flautas and dill pickle salad. The wind howled all day, yuck. It did hit plus 5, but did not feel nice out.

Kaylin arrived around 2 with miss Lexi, snacks and drinks before my sugaring. Britt and Cooper were out before 3, fed horses and joined us for family fun afternoon. Supper was a Family favorite deer sausage with roasted veggies and tomato pasta.

Britt and cooper were off before 7. Sheldon went to put kitties away and chip away at the firepit ice for a bit before coming in to head the TV room to watch hockey. K, S and I played sequence with a break for them to run to town at 8 for diet pop. The wind finally let up, once back the girls and I played more cards then off to our rooms around 10:30 when S came up defeated Flames game.

10 year squeak silenced finally

Coyotes again a couple times last night, too bad there wasn't a hunter to remove them :) H was awake again at 6:45 but came in and laid down till I let her out at 7 and fed her breakfast. I got busy catching up the blog and doing some marketing after turning on coffee pot. S enjoyed a couple cups in bed before starting a project that has taken almost 10 years; screwing the sub floor under carpet in an area in the bedroom that squeaks :). I wrote a tutorial for the pink jewelry box and got is posted etc.

We ran to town for S lab tests at noon. I then went and let Cooper out to pee, grab a scrub brush for Harley's dishes, deposit a US affiliate check at the bank and pick up Opa and a chai tea then back to pick up the prince. We scarfed down out lunch then stopped by the cat sanctuary who had too many comforters and offered Harley one (which ended up 4).

Our last in town stop was Paetz's to drop off Harry Potter # 2 movie for them to watch this w/e seeing Asher just finished the book and pick up cash and a monitor Shaina had delivered there. On the way home mail was grabbed and trash tossed. We were back home by 2. I finished vacuuming the main floor and in and under the dog kennels washing the bedding. A new comforter was added to one which Harley loved. S went out to try and clean up some of the hay mess at the pit but still too frozen even though today is another warm 10 but WINDY and overcast. He rolled some fresh hay and was back in to nap on the couch.

I had did a live opening of my milk paint parcel but it got wiped out of Instagram so did a quick story. I had a raw diet webinar at 3 in which I ended up the only attendant so it was a private one on one class. Harley was needing to burn off energy and distract her from wanting supper at 4:30 so S took her to play ball. I was doing some accounting when Britt text at 5 she was in surgery and probably for another couple hours could I go pick up Cooper? I grabbed the keys and headed out. Sheldon was fixing the outside light on the barn door that was dangling most likely from wind again.

I ripped in, Cooper met me at the door for the second time today (amazing) let me clip on his leash and I had him loaded and headed back to the ranch in short order. I let him out half way down the lane hoping he would poop then come to the house seeing he had not this am for B nor when he went out at noon for me. Nope instead he raced behind me like I was leaving him biffing it in a puddle of slush around a corner but still charging on. At the house I grabbed the shovel to scoop his poop then around back to let H in to eat. S was getting more ice chipped away from the firepit area. She was thrilled to be finally eating then out with Cooper to play.

I scrubbed up her dish and a few other brushes and such in the sink then inside to start supper. Tonight is Hello Fresh chicken and cheese flautas. Shaina after finishing up her days calls kindly vacuumed the basement at my request. The dogs came in for a nap and dry in their newly bedded kennels. We sat down to eat after 6:30 and they were surprisingly very good. (again I left the peppers out of mine). Shaina washed the pans after, thanks Dude.

B arrived to pick up Cooper just after 7:30, a quick hello then off to have a steak supper passing up my offer. Shaina headed to town not long after to visit Gail and S went to the TV room to watch curling. I caught up todays blog then headed to flop in bed before 9 with my iPad. S was up after a bit and we watched another Vikings then he napped. Shaina was back home now and made popcorn delivering me a bowl at 11 to enjoy, thanks Dude.
