Warm enough to sand outside

The dam coyotes was back at 3:33 then 5:30 but short bursts and Harley nor Sheldon woke. Harley was awake before 7 coming in for a morning greeting. I took her out and fed her a most exciting breakfast and then sent her out to do her business. Sure enough the poop was much smaller then the normal huge stinky pile, first success! She came around to her kennel and relaxed as S made coffee just after 7.

Marketing for me and he went to let cats out. It looks like another great weather day ahead. Time to get busy in the garage; I started by sanding the dresser top but even with the shop vac in the other hand it still makes a dusty air. I will take out when warmer and finish up. I decided to try and shop vac the stairs and work area seeing sanding dust and dog hair abound. S went out to hook up his air hose then in to rest as feeling his dizzy /nausea again today. Shaina has a headache today so she made a cappuccino and back downstairs. 

I started painting the custom ordered frame I cleaned up yesterday and while first coat dried has some cereal with S. After the second coat I scrubbed the table left at the gate and it was left to dry while I caught up the blog. S went back out and took the poop wagon via quad to the pit. I made us tuna sandwiches with a new dill pickle salad that actually tasted good.

S had a rest after lunch while I snapped photos of the cleaned up art work I will try and sell before painting frames. It seems there are many looking for vintage art pieces esp actual painted pieces.

Time for a walk as it is PLUS 12!! S, Harley and I set out for a western loop. It was so lovely. Back at the house S sat on the deck with a phone call and I went in to finish the frame sanding and adding dark wax then snapping a few pics for the buyer.

After his lengthy phone call, I had S help me haul the dresser outside to sand on the back deck. I got the top all sanded off and the sides and base smoothed. S took the blue tub to the winter pasture approach then hosed off the ranger. 

I also added more black spray to the magazine rack outside seeing it was so nice. S headed in as did H for their naps. While S snored on the couch I wrote a Hometalk post for the black dresser. My milk paint parcel was finally delivered.

B was invited to join us for supper again and arrived at 6 to do Cooper's poop walk. I cooked up Hello Fresh meal # 2 Italian chicken and lemony pepper sauce. It was ok but why would I order a pepper filled meal is beyond me LOL.

S was off to watch the Flames game downstairs while little S hit the couch with her headache and B & I discussed raw diet. She is coming to the dark side I think :) She put the kitties away before she and Cooper headed home, thanks. I finished some computer work then got ready for bed. S had a very directionally challenged couple eventually finding the place after 9 pm to  pick up a hay net he sold. Once the Flames game ended he came up and we watched another Vikings episode before he was fast asleep.

Shaina was up making her cappuccino at 5:45 am ready for her early long day. She was back up for more as Sheldon was making coffee before 8. He enjoyed one of his cups on the sunny deck after letting cats out while I had some computer work to do after a shower. I took beet pulp out to the horses B made but did not feed last night.

S was off to town to drop off a parcel and have a doctors appointment. I tidied ; garage, car loading cooler and items to go to city, kitchen, etc. I heated up leftovers for lunch ready for S when he was back just before 1 grabbing a little table left at the gate to be painted. We grabbed a water bottle and we were off to the city. We arrived at Home Depot 15 minutes before scheduled 2 pm meeting time with crazy phone buying lady who after low balling me $50 insisted on getting her money back or a cable and wall charger. I ran in quick to Home Depot but still no luck on any good wood. I gave her the cable/charger and we were off to my dental appointment.

I had my zirconium implanted while S waited in the parking lot napping and perusing his phone. He had loaded a leaf blower a guy wanted to buy only to then ask him to deliver it to his home and put somewhere specific.. no thanks buddy. I was done in less then an hour.

Costco was our next stop. This time the return went super smooth and fast then on to filling our cart. It included yet another cute plant. I don't think I will keep it though as it seems pretty shoddy made base, the jar super dirty (I cleaned here) and the plants covered in white sodium like powder.

Supper was early at the Cheesecake Cafe using gift cards from Ma and Pa K. We enjoyed a slushy drink or 2 for happy hour along with wings and our dinner and took cheesecake to go. Our last stop was to pick up the raw food order for Harley who was ate home starving Shaina says. Shaina took her for a nice walk, thanks!

We were home just after 6:30 and I quickly semi thawed her first raw patty and got her fed. She loved it of course fasting for the last 26 hours and getting a huge meaty portion. S loaded the groceries in as I found room for this larger then I expected order. While doing so my tummy started to rumble and gurgle and for the next couple hours I was plagued with a lower GI food poisoning. avoid the Thai chicken salad there is my advice.

We were able to watch 3 episodes of Vikings seeing I was right close to the facilities. The dam coyote was back again but when S tried to sneak out back door they were off.

Bold coyotes ;(

The dang coyote was in the yard howling again at 3:50 am. I woke S and he ran and grabbed gun to fire off a shot but by the time he got it out of the safe the coyote had silenced. Back to bed and awake after 7, Har was let out and put in kennel till 7:30 when S made coffee and I fed her in preparation for Cooper's arrival. B was late today dropping off before 8. I published the milk painted wicker tutorial I did last week.

S had a meeting online all morning so he bellied up to the island with his laptop and coffee. I headed to garage putting another clear coat on the nightstand top then to haul the tall dresser down and photograph a before shot, trouble shoot the loose skirting then scrub well and let dry. In between these I juggled dogs in and out and went out and let cats out. I looked out of the garage window and thought Cooper was in the south field so ran inside to front door to call him back only to find it was a coyote not far behind Cooper who was along the fence line. Harley was closer to the house but not sure either noticed him until I called for Cooper to come back then the coyote booked it east. That brazen coyote has got to go.

Sheldon's meeting finished up just before noon. I made French toast delivering Shaina's to her mid client call but at least hot and fresh. I had him help me carry the nightstand in not because heavy but as to not ding the fresh paint.

We have a virtual meeting at 1; crazy how covid has made so many things done online now. After S crashed on the couch. It is sleepy Tuesday right? Our Hello Fresh was delivered, it has been awhile since I we treated ourselves to it. I did some computer work, scrubbed the muddy paw prints off the floor after getting dogs back in. The plus 6 temps make for muddy feet.

In the garage I sorted and organized frames as I have had one ordered for months now and yet to do it. I also cleaned up and rearranged and plan to sell some on Etsy that have original oil paintings. The frame chosen was taken apart, scrubbed and let dry. Time to go for a walk with the dogs collecting Sheldon from the shop who had woken and went to roll the partial bale out.

The sun did pop out this am for a bit then back to cloudy but it was still warm and a high of PLUS 10! The dogs had a good loop along with Miss Stella, the other two sat on the fence watching seeing we did the east loop. Back at the house we sat on the back deck with a cold drink while I brushed H and cleaned her ears out.

Hello Fresh supper tonight was Barramundi Fish Tacos which I prepped and had ready for serving at 6. Britt and Shaina both were at the island just before eager to eat. B gave them a 9.5 , S a 9 and Shaina only a 6 as slightly over our not raving about her pad Thai last night :) She was off to her video calls at 6:30, B put the cats away and she and Cooper were off soon after. S hit the tub for a soak while I caught up todays blog. Once he was out we started the newest and last season of Vikings. The coyote brought friends and caused a stir for a while tonight really upsetting Harley till Sheldon fired off a shot.

Sensational sunrise

Thanks to Harley I get to see allot of these sunrises!

March first already, and it started out just like any other day. Like Friday is plant watering day, Monday is cleaning day. Laundry was hauled, sorted and started beginning with H bed blanket. This is always part of vacuuming as bedding is shook, washed and kennels vacuumed out. The vacuuming carried on main floor and our bedroom carpet. Lots of black hair is real.

I enjoyed a catch up call from Mama K then headed to let the cats out before 9:30. Shaina was up right behind me in line for my morning cappuccino then she was off for her busy check in day. I was off to the garage where the nightstand was glazed and left to dry.

Amanda brought out a package bringing Clover, Archer and Aislyn to join us for a walk after 1. Shaina even took a break and joined us. AJ loaded up and headed home with sleepy kids in tow, Shaina ate some lunch while I folded laundry.

Harley and Clover always have a blast playing, they are like a cyclone though so watch out when they blow by :)

I was back to the nightstand trying a couple products but finally going with my trusty dark wax. I stuck on new hardware and voila! Shaina volunteered to make supper tonight; homemade pad Thai B and C were out after 6 as usual and stayed to join in on the delicious supper served just before 7. Well done Shaina it was tasty and so nice to be served AND to clean up all the pots after too!!

Shaina headed back to check in day at 8 as B and C headed home. I did some quick computer work then into bed to watch videos. I was dozing when S rolled in after 11, had a shower then jumped into bed and fast asleep.
