Time skips ahead an hour

Time changed but it worked perfectly for me seeing I was still on Belizian time ;) I relaxed surfing IG with the sun out although -16 but soon S was up making coffee. I moved on to marketing throwing in the first of the days laundry while he perused the internet and his online news.

Britt and Cooper arrived just before noon, She gave pills to horses as I made tuna sandwiches for S and I then she and I went out to trim feet. Bird was first then KD and Roo. S finished up the humidifier then had a nap before popping out to humor me checking the rubber that was coming off his new door sweeps he had installed.

Once we finished up at 2:30 B and Cooper headed home and S and I had a cold beer. It was golf day on TV of course. I started to get to work on the photos downloading, editing and sorting . Before the 5 pm Flames game S "washed" his coyote hide and hung in the garage with poor resting Lola. I finally got the first day of vacation posted. We both folded the piles of freshly done laundry and emptied suitcases.

I took out veggies craps for the ponies and they had to cross the sketchy frozen lake to get to me

For supper we made another delicious meal. The bacon wrapped medallions from Walmart with pasta and corn was scrumptious. Highly recommend buying them, like Hello Fresh for meat but for only $9 for 2. The game was on of course and once the meal was down and tidied up S was off to the TV room to watch the rest while I worked on blog posts.

Snowy Saturday

It was sooo quiet you really forget just how peaceful rural living is. I awoke at 6 but fell back asleep but fully awake at 7. It was snowing quite a bit then but did let up a bit to a soft fall but cold -10. After I quick look at Instagram I got up to start up the computer and catch up on emails. There were a few bites but no sales ;( The plants all got watered too.

S was up around 8:30, made coffee, showered and was picked up by Darren at 9. They were off to an old co-workers funeral in the city today. I wrote a tutorial for the pink jewelry box and shared it on a few places. I decided to head in around 10:30 and pick up my replacement Fitbit at the mail box and grab some groceries. It was very snowy and super icy on the roads after a week of melting. I stopped at Britt's before getting groceries to hear about her week. She made cappuccinos along with bacon and eggs, thanks B!

I bought some bright tulips to brighten the house

I was back at the ranch a couple hours later as the snow was letting up. It started back up after S was dropped off just after 2. He hit big brown and spent the rest of the day there relaxing and catching up on internet and newspapers. I plugged away at the blogs, wrote up and posted the first giveaway for Creative Moments 7 year celebration; a faux tin tile.

The bug itches had me heading to soak in the tub while getting back into The Witcher. I finished the season in the cozy bed as S took his turn in the tub. He was asleep almost as soon as he hit the pillow before 9. We are both still on Belize time which is an hour ahead which will come in hand tonight when the time changes.

Reef snorkel tour

Today is our 2nd big activity tour day so a good breakfast was in order.

We left for our half day reef snorkel tour with Happy Go Lucky tours (ran by a young girl who was from Hanna when we lived there and her husband) with a great cab guy named Jody at 12:45. He dropped us at marina #5 to meet our captain Basil and first mate Clyde.

Relax day - guest house tour videos

Every day that I woke early to see a sunrise it was cloudy but today after 6 am I took these 2 and went back to bed for a bit.

Today is designated relax day so our first stop was the beach after a couple coffees in bed. Here is a tour down from our room thru the back yard.

and onto the beach front area.

We set off on a beach walk seeing the sun was out in full force finally.

Once back at the guest house, Stouts joined us and we set off to explore again.

This was when I snapped this photo of Luba Laruga.

We stopped at the Coconut Husk for brunch and to see if they finally had our welcome drinks coconuts and sure enough they did.
Fresh coconut water and coconut rum, welcome!

I love that their money is colorful and is similar to ours in many ways including the Queen. Belizian dollars equal half a US dollar.

Here is a Southwater room video all fresh after the housekeeper was done.

And the view from our room to the beach.

Belikin time in a 31 coozie from Deb!

The neighbors puppy stopped over to say hi then steal Sharon's flip flop.

Sunshine, sand, a cold Landshark and a bag of Spitz, S is in paradise for sure!

Guard dog Platinum from next door stops over to for a visit.

So nice to see the places that use wooden straws instead of plastic. The place we ate at tonight however had the crankiest of waitresses we have ever had. The owner or cook, not sure however was a really nice lady and the food was good at Smokey Grill. She did stop us the next day and say the cranky waitress overcharged us by $10 and wanted to give it back. We told her to keep it and appreciated her honesty but we did not tell her about the waitress.
