more sales :)

Our morning started with coffee in bed and some internet browsing. I then spent time catching up on work emails, custom ruler consult, creating another sale graphic/posting and finishing the rustic peppermint sets. Prince also had a pre lunch nap to prepare for his travel day ;)

Staging was underway when Sheldon packed up and was off to the city after 1 to meet Craig for lunch, stop to buy some new work boots then get to the airport.

 After a bite to eat I vacuumed the main floor hardwood and worked on an idea I had to repair the damaged areas. I used the stain/oil finish and although it did not work as well as I hoped it did mask the damage a bit. Now to let dry well and stay off it.

I brought in the ruler and traced out the family name in the font selected and another number as this is a 7' ruler.

The jewelry box order was confirmed with the increased shipping fee and once all was sorted I finished boxing it up and went to print out the shipping label. Grrr the printer was disconnected again. I thought back to when the changes to it dropping and Sheldon's laptop and it was when we got the new router. A long tech support call to router company ended up solving the issue, yahoo. Label printed, taped on and the parcel is ready for its journey to Europe!

The customers arrived to see the navy dresser and immediately said it was exactly what they wanted. We got it all loaded up and headed back to the city in no time. Now to update my Facebook page and take down all my ads for it.. wahoo Then it was on to accounting with Grey's to keep me company.

While getting Lola in I checked out the custom vanity and nightstand dropped off this w/e and sadly the vanity is warped very bad so let the customer know ;(

Snow!

Today was an early wake up but after instruction from AJ I found out they do know "not time to wake up". This was first at 6 am but Arch was in and out of sleep for about an hour. The other 2 were up but after I let them know it was a bit early, including miss Mya who was retrieving Scout out for a pee, in the SNOW (Yep we got a dusting of snow overnight) they all laid back down and watched their devices for a bit then it was go time.

I had the kids breakfast short orders going with a pot of coffee as Stacie joined me and the day was underway. Sheldon was up next then Britt and Dale, eventfully Vance and finally Kaylin but not until around 11 ;) Sheldon made french toast and scrambled eggs, well done buddy! and the coffee pot kept busy too.

Archer was off for his morning nap at 10 as Dale and Stacie ran to town for some shopping. The foggy weather rolled in soon after. Sheldon headed out to roll out a bale and Britt to doctor Birds foot again, wrapping it up this time.

By the time Dale and his brood were off before one the sun began to pop thru and shine. Kaylin was off to get ready for her work shift today with Mya as an observer. She was off to work at 1:30 followed by Britt running to town to tan quick.

After putting Archer down for his afternoon nap I prepped and made hamburger soup. Sheldon, Britt, Samara and Lexi all napped too, must have been a hard w/e for them. A lady messaged to buy the end tables, wahoo! I got them ready to send back to the city with Britt. This morning I had an Etsy sale for the dark grey jewelry box but the destination costs more again then estimated so will see what transpires.

Soup was yummy as always. Archer woke up at 5:30 to join us. I got all the kids goodies, bags and leftover snacks all loaded up as AJ and Craig messaged they just landed. Britt loaded her stuff, the tables that sold and Lexi and were off to the city after 6. Sheldon went to see why the Xmas lights were once again off and decided to hang another new set along the eve on the west side. The kids and I sang songs around the fire of course having a few more snacks when A&C arrived just after 7. A quick load up and they were on their way to get everyone home and to bed for a new school week. So much fun having them for the last 4 days <3

I got busy catching up on emails and blogs and happily had another lady message who is coming with her husband and a truck to see the navy dresser tomorrow evening. Pretty good day for sales! Sheldon headed to Calgary for a meeting before 8. I had a well earned soak watching Grey's. I had finished season 10 on Friday night so well onto season 11. I even managed to get to sleep by 11 only to be briefly awoke hearing S rummage around in the fridge when he got home after 12:30 but back to sleep soon after.

Today was an early one.. kids awake at 5:30. I managed to keep Archer chilling with the sound machine and snuggles till 6 but then it was time to get up. The other two were already Ipading by then too. Sheldon had trouble sleeping so was up so it was a full on coffee and breakfast before 7 am.

Grama and Papa joined us for coffee later in the morning (normal for most actually LOL) Up so early had Arch back for his morning nap at 9 ish sleeping till after 11. Grama and Papa headed off home around 10 as Britt joined us for a coffee.

The custom cabinet couple stopped at 11:30 to pick it up, Britt was just heading to town to tan and drop Asher at his birthday party from 12-3.

Once back she kindly took Ada for a horse ride she had been yearning for.

Dale, Stacie and the kids pulled in around 1:30. They had time for a cold beer before 3 of them headed to town to shop leaving Mya to play with Ada.

 Britt moved on to ride Bird after giving Ada her fairly long ride only to find Bird just got clipped on her front leg so had to wash and doctor it. Ada took medicine to help and Sheldon water while I scrubbed Lexi after her roll in fresh poop.

Sheldon went to town to pick up Asher from his party. Once back from town for them and the Walker's, it was visiting and supper prep getting supper underway when Kaylin joined us around. A yummy supper and another great night visiting around the fire was had.

Running low on milk and an increase in paralyzers had Kaylin kindly offer to run to town and grab a jug along with lactose free for herself, thanks lovey!

Grama & Papa come for a visit

Early morning awake at 6:30 with quiet snuggles till 7 then on to breakfast. Sheldon ran Asher to school even getting him there a wee bit early before his 8:20 drop off.  I had a lady stop and pick up the dresser hutch while they were gone.

While Archer had his morning nap, Ada helped me sand/wax the Xmas decor. Sheldon kindly drilled out candle holes on 3 for me with the new bit.

Early out had Sheldon running back to pick up Ash and they grabbed a few groceries for tonight's chili supper and the 2 little ones and I met a lady for a custom bedroom nightstand and makeup vanity.

Once back, Asher and Sheldon were going to walk and check the horses hay, Ada went along and of course the dogs. Archer and I stayed in and changed the felt feet on the island chairs and vacuumed the main floor.

Grama and Papa arrived around 2:30 for a visit, supper and sleepover. Arch went down for his afternoon nap soon after. Good afternoon of visiting and yummy chili supper turned into a fire and relaxing around it. Britt joined us around 7:30 staying the w/e as usual as well. Shaina booked a trip to Mexico to join some friends last night and is off tonight, have fun Dude!
