Inch of rain!

The rain started in the night off and on and came down for the rest of the morning. Coffee and scrabble after S took Lola out early around 7:30. Quiet day on the rainy home front with allot of big brown time and a nap for one and computer work for another. A Hometalk post was made for the oval table. I put on a pot of turkey soup bones perfect for a rainy day. S ran out to check rain gauge around 10 and we had 1 1/2" so far!! BUT then he remembered he watered that area with a sprinkler so we have no idea really how much it rained LOL

At 11:30 he ventured out to the shop to putz around and weld a cross while I continued to work on tutorial posts and furniture sale ads. I wrote up a Hometalk post for the stenciled dresser before getting a late BLT lunch ready. B and Cooper stopped out while we were eating. She put a rain sheet on Bird and brought Bandit in to give meds and check over. She and Cooper were off an hour later. Further work was done on the simmering soup. The wood filler on the desk was sanded and more added and left to dry again.

Lola was taken for a walk in the drizzling rain, S went back out to spray paint the welded cross he made then back in to relax. More sanding and wood filler. I also took apart a tray and scrubbed it up to paint soon. Kaylin and Lexi arrived at 5 just in time to have some soup. The rain was letting up now with a total of 1" according to Matt next door. B stopped back out after 6 to have a bowl and get sugared, check on Bandit then head back home after 7. K was off to her room to watch Netflix. I started the tray painting it a charcoal grey. S took Lola for her bathroom break then crawled into bed. He started Animal Kingdom while I finished season 4!! Of course another cliff hanger! Then I watched 2 more Queer Eye.
