Day 1076 is a bittersweet day as Miss Beck, Britt's "old" polocrosse pony leaves the ranch for a new home. She taught Britt allot about the game and was always an honest kind girl playing hard for Britt. However as she aged her body started to age she was not able to keep up with Britt's level of play so was moved to trail horse for friends. This was not her calling having green riders attempt to maneuver her. She truly is a one gal horse and will work hard for that person. She is going to a home where she will e center of attention for a lady with MS. The lady's daughter in law test rode her and if she tipped either way, Beck would stop waiting for her to catch her balance. This was a huge asset they were looking for. We are all sad to see her go but happy she will once again become the #1 horse for the lady.
With coffee in hand I waxed the kids chairs. I notice the following on the blog is again down so think I will only post if something very eventful happens. Spring is on its way as the sun shines down so I hope to be very busy in the near future outside and in the garage.
Britt and I went out and groomed horses, refilled mineral tubs and trimmed Beck's back feet. The sun was glorious and about plus 6. Shaina took off KD blanket for the day.

Time for a lunch break, another coat of wax and buff then Britt and I went out to catch Beck for her pickup. Shaina stopped to say goodbye on her way to the gym too. It was now time to get busy doing horse husbandry.

I cleaned out the trailer back and replaced fresh shavings then got busy scrubbing and bleaching all pails and buckets while washing more tack. I love the spring cleaning feeling.

Now that Shaina was back home (with groceries) and it was gorgeous plus 9, I forced the girls out to ride. In the end I think they were glad I did.

I made supper, Shaina added roasted veggies before she had a nap. Kaylin dropped Lexi off at 7 and was off to town, Shaina was up and gone just after 8. Both are going in a limo to the city for a friends birthday celebration. Britt cleaned her room (for real now) and was off for a sleepover at Kyra's at 9:30 leaving me and the dogs to chill for the evening! Sheldon text after his Keg like supper of steak, shrimp, king crab, stuffed mushrooms etc they were player yet another poker game and he was up! Good luck dear! Kaylin cabbed it home at 3:30 while Shaina stayed in town at Jenna's.
