Palm Springs bound

Renn and her buddy Beans last night video

Nathan sent this sweet picture saying they were all packed up <3

We were awake early ready to head it on our family vacation. Har was fed and worried about the bags rolling to the door. B arrived after 7. Not long after we were off to the city. We dropped B's new car at VW, jumped in an Uber and off to the airport. The others were already there. There were a few delays in security lines before getting on the plane. Renn did great on the under 3 hour flight. I finished allot of my book too.

First international flight for miss Renn

A Pacifica mini van was our chariot AKA the black pickle. Blue Coyote Grill was up next for food and beverage in the sunshine. A tour thru Target had all kinds of goodies loaded in. Time to get all unloaded at Amarillo House. The lemon yellow themed home was nice but we found the pictures we based our decision on were taken long ago.

Pizza was supper. Shaina and Sheldon tried the hot tub. Uno, Netflix and other games rounded out the night. I read more of my book.

Day 2

Kaylin snapped this beauty shot

Kaylin, Renn and I were up early watching Super Mario movie. Monday our big trip was to the premium outlet mall 30 minutes west. It was nice to get out in the sunshine. There were a few parcels when we loaded back in but not many. Sherman's Delicatessen was our late lunch spot. It was ok but nothing quite like we expected with S friend's recommend. We headed back in hopes that the pool might be warm. No luck but the beer was cold. S and I ran to Von’s to grab stuff for supper. S choose spaghetti & meat sauce and I an Asian salad. Kaylin cooked it up once we were back. S & I sat around the fit pit with Shaina for a bit. A rousting monopoly game was the nights entertainment.

Baby needs her sunscreen and hat

then she is ready to hit the backyard

There were many lemon trees we enjoyed for the 9 days

Shaina was always fitting in her work when she could, not a bad place to work from right?

B rolls a bale

Final day to pack up and get the ranch in order. More stuff added to the suitcases. Harley stuff packed up and at front door. Keys hidden and notes written. I washed a load to include our runners to take. House tidied cause everyone loves to come home to a clean house. B and Cooper along with Gulliver arrived after 10. She got to packing Sheldon then showed her how to run the new skid steer. She loaded the bale and took it to roll out. Sheldon drove along on the quad to supervise.

S cooked up grilled cheese for lunch. he added eggs for himself. The last of the mushroom soup was eaten too Cleaning out the fridge is also on the list. B was of to feed her horse. S and I hit the hot tub for an after lunch soak. B gave Bird and Roo a blanket treatment. After his shower S tried the Beamer boot on his sore knee. I caught up the blog. B was off to the city to have Kaylin sugar her.

The hot tub filters were cleaned. I re-did the shellac toe nail and painted my nails. Holiday ready. S and I headed to town. Ribbon for the gates was picked up. A hazelnut cold brew next. An amazon return was dropped off and library books picked up. The ruler was dropped at Amanda’s for Tami to pick up next week. Thanks AJ! We had a short visit with her and the 2 littles before heading home.

my new reads

Back at ranch S and I moved the dining table and desk upstairs for pick up next weekend. I covered them with a sheet to avoid any slime marks. S hit big brown for a nap. I drained the washing machine. That is crazy the amount of stinky water it retains. B was back from the city with shampoo & conditioner Kaylin picked up for me and a package from the gate. I changed Harley’s bedding after vacuuming the kennel.

I am good for a few years now :)

Once awake S and I bathed Harley. She is ready for her week as a town dog. I tried the new collar I ordered but sadly it does not fit. Time to cook supper. Wings, roasted veggies and French fries. Hockey was the evening entertainment. B loaded her cat and dog and headed south before 8:30. she will be back in about 10 hours. We watched the game, finished last minute packing and caught up the blog. Ciao peeps. See you in awhile!

All bison picked up

Look at these 2 cuties. This little jacket was worn by Brittany and Steph

Dec 1 already. 2 more days and we are "leaving on a jet plane". I fed the dogs, did a bit of marketing before starting the coffee. The prince slept in today then chatted with Ma and pa when I delivered his hot mug in bed. It is -10 overnight, brrrr. Plants were watered as it is plant Friday.

Nathan sent a pic they were all packed up!! :)

We made the tasty instant pot mushroom soup for lunch. S vacuumed while I scrubbed slime off the walls and window sills. More suitcase items packed for us too. The no wind & sunshine called for us to take the dogs for a walk. Today is colder at -5 but the no wind made it feel so much warmer. Back at the house we got the bison ready for the last buyer to pick up. This is a whole bison and bonus bag of bones.

The driver however got lost even with a pin and being here before to pick up the head, legs etc. Britt got off work early and was here after 4. She did a bit of packing and her plant care. She and I went out and caught 4 horses. Switch had a turn with the fancy blanket. THANKS Dave!

The driver finally made it. Sheldon loaded him up and they were off. It is funny as I completed loaded them last time. Both times 2 strong strapping fellows watched one of us load it all. The guys tonight said they were getting cold and had to warm up in their truck LOL. B finished up with the last 3 horses then joined us for the last of the chili.  She then headed to her boarding house. S and I went for a hot tub. I had shellac painted my toe nails earlier but had one peel off in the tub. This was followed up with an entertaining movie - Shotgun Wedding. We then started Die Hart but S got tired. I watched McLeod's Daughters for while.
