Baby Snuggles

I was up early leaving the prince to sleep for his good 12 hours ;) He did roust to make coffee before I headed off to my riding lesson at 10. Switch did really well at her lesson and think I did ok too. I was done and headed in to Manda's for some snuggles just before noon. Sheldon met me there to meet little miss A. Craig was back with Asher so had a nice visit with all the family for almost 3 hours.

He is so funny in his iPad watching position

S was off to grab pork for sausage making this w/e and I picked up a silverware chest I won in an auction.

Back home I tossed the horses a bale and let Cooper out to play. The aqua green frames blog went live. I was scrubbing up dishes when S got home with pork and a couple groceries. We hauled in the jumbo armoire (dinging it up on the way in ;( so I worked on touch ups before staging for a few photos.

S eventually got motivated to head out in the sunshine after 4 and take down the Xmas lights finally. He also hooked up the tank under the deck to water the little Xmas trees in the raised beds.

Kaylin came out for supper stopping to meet baby A on her way. B arrived home from work just in time to join us for steak and fixings. After supper; K cleaned her vehicle and we loaded a desk she wants to try as a vanity. B rode Bird and S and I ran to a neighbors to pick up a pine bedroom suite. Back home S hit the TV room for hockey, I caught Roo for B to pony along for awhile and then started to unload the furniture. Dang it the big dresser had a bust off leg and S said he would not repair it so I found the person after me and had them come get the dresser and headboard.

K and Lexi were headed back home before 8:30. It was then B's turn to vacuum and clean out her car. The fellow got lost on his way out but eventually made it and was on his way in no time with the furniture by 10. Shower and Call the Midwife time for me.

spray painting and sanding

Today was more of a catch up day. I tossed a bale again this time there were 3 not so smarts so I went back and took the tall skinny black one over and doctored her foot. The 2 gingers never did get over there LOL  I hauled out my big planters to make room as well as get sun on the 2 pots that are coming back.

Clean up the stencil and garage were in order as I find it so much easier to keep things tidy like that.. and my OCD. I also scrubbed up a new project. Once it dried I assembled it again and took it outside to spray in a fun blue. The day was lovely but a bit breezy so for the clear coat I was forced to bring it inside to spray.

The breeze off and on worked well to strip and sand so I hauled the gate leg table outside and got busy. By 4 the clouds rolled in so seeing I had allot done I took a break to canvas some wood "stripper" companies for ambassador programs.

The sun came back out and so did I. Lola got another good brushing. The wind helped carry the hair off at least. It also kept the sanding dust down lol. I sanded and sprayed a board in black chalkboard paint to go with the stand I painted earlier. It will be used as a booth sign at my upcoming market!

B was home at 7, grabbed a bowl of soup and hit the couch. Sheldon was home with teas for us all around 8 grabbed a bite to eat and watched the hockey game. However by the 2nd intermission he was sound asleep ;)

hutch heads to its home

B was off to work at the crack of dawn.. or close anyway ;) My project was back to the armoire. The hemp oil had darkened the milk paint enough that lots of the stenciling was faint so I restenciled over it. Then the entire piece was black waxed.

It was a nice day hitting 19, I tossed a bale for the ponies and all figured out how to go around except 1. eventually I went and let the slow one over in the pen.

The hutch was picked up after lunch with 2 cars coming each taking a part ;) Then it was time to clean my desk off and catch up with accounting.

I  I thought Shaina was coming for supper so made a fancy chicken tenderloin supper but she did not have training today and B was going to be late heading thru the city to pick up her groceries left at the house. So I ate and man was I stuffed. B made it home around 8 unloading quite the haul. She ate and hit the shower. Season 6 of Call the Midwife is on Netflix so I started it while working online.

big project continues, dining table sells

Up at 7 gave me plenty of time to fit marketing in ;) I finished up the dining table blog post and published it. B was up fairly early too but good as she is back to work tomorrow and will have to be reconditioned. She tossed a bale for the ponies.

Work on the armoire was my project of the day. I sanded it and added a new stencil to the sides and top in black. Then it was all sealed in hemp oil when dry. I scrubbed the hardware up and started the copper spray once dry too.

B and I headed to town for a 2 pm showing of the condo prince and I looked at last week. She really liked it but then it was all the number crunching and life's big girl realities. We stopped to pick Cooper a new brush, grab an ice cap to celebrate her missed birthday, got groceries, gas and the mail and headed back home.

Once the groceries were unloaded I finished up buffing the armoire and putting it back on the dolly moving to an area where it can dry till the next step.

I opened the gate while B tossed an evening bale. A fellow and his friend arrived at 6 to look at and buy the dining table. That was a fast turn around, so happy as my space it getting limited. B walked Cooper to the gate to shut it, thanks B. I wrote 2 more blog posts one for the jewelry boxes and the custom table as well . B did laundry and got ready for her big back to work tomorrow.
