769 - very busy day for all

Day 769 was such a busy day. The roofers were on site at 6:30 today trying to get east side done before any more rain. Britt was off to school behind me going to work. I had to go to her cosmo class at 11 to be her facial test subject. She was very good, well done Britt.
She then picked up Shaina and off they drove to Hanna to get her retainers fitted up. They got back at 5:30. Shaina got to see a couple friends and keep her company for the drive, thanks Shaina!
Sheldon had a "meeting" with Craig to get a signature this morning then worked on the last build out as well as move the downspout to new location. The shop door guys arrived and spent the day installing doors finishing all but ones tracks.
After my super relaxing facial I met Coreena and Sharon at the golf course to celebrate Sharon's birthday. Hers was yesterday as she is Shaina's twin. Our birthday lunches are a great tradition. Next stop was to see Dr Christine for more acupuncture. Today we treated the lungs, knees and elbows. I was a real pin cushion by the end with some in ears, knees, leg, neck, elbow and behind! I left with permanents for lungs and knees in both ears and advice to up my vitamin c, GABA and PH pills. The last stop was to my colonic expert before heading home to enjoy a cold beer with Sheldon.

A fellow who has clay to move stopped to quote just after home. The roofers left at 5:30 putting in a long day and the door guys left at 6. I cleaned the peak window while the roofers had the ladder here. Britt kindly fed the horses for me while I updated 3 days of the blog to catch up.
I cooked up a yummy roast chicken dinner which we all enjoyed before Shaina was off to town to work and Britt hit the basement. Sheldon ran to Stouts to borrow a saw blade so I snapped a few shop pictures for your enjoyment.

768 - Shaina turns 19!!

Day 768 is Shaina's 19th Birthday!! Happy birthday sweets!

The rain came in the night and let off mid morning measuring 4.5/10ths Kaylin arrived just after 10 with Tim treats for a visit before her and Shaina met Gail for lunch. Kaylin also took Lexi to the vet at 9, apparently she has a common issue called "bobble head bulldog" in layman's terms. Not life threatening just a condition she will live with.

I showered up as did Shaina then Sheldon after finishing up his build out work then we waited for Britt to get home. Once home from school we snapped this photo and were off to the city.

767 - build outs moving along

Day 767 is a dreary Sunday. After sleeping 12 hours Sheldon got up to make coffee :-) At 10 a fellow arrived to buy the barbeque. There was a list of 14 people wanting it so was glad he came so could remove the ad.

I fed horses before mowing grass for 2 hours. The threat of rain made it a cool and breezy job. Sheldon putzed around doing a few jobs getting to the build outs just before stopping for lunch.

Britt was up cleaning so she could make her maiden voyage to the city with 2 friends to shop. She left just after 1. After lunch Sheldon spread some clay into the sink hole yet again and around the house and just after 2 the rain set in. Shaina arrived home soon after and spent some time doing laundry folding and vacuuming.

As the rain came down I stoked up a fire and cleaned the house and by clean.. the jobs you avoid most days like washing window sills and baseboards. It does feel good though when done. The dirt that sifts in from outside is crazy. I wonder if grass will slow it down. Sheldon plunked away at the build outs.

The rain let up about 5 measuring 1/10th. Sheldon ran to town just before 6 to get more nails for his project and Britt and her friends arrived safely home just after. I finished more cleaning and posted furniture for sale before relaxing.

Shaina headed to town to meet Kate for more pre birthday beverages at OJ's and home after midnight.

766 - June 1st what the heck

Day 766 is June 1st already, yikes!! I was so excited to se all my blooming trees in May but so sad that never happened. How disappointing it has been. Being a Saturday it was a lazy start with traditional coffee and baileys in bed to get started :-)

I did sand the poly and put a 2nd coat on the rectangular table, a 1st coat on the coffee table and sand and stain the forgotten fold down edges of the round table

Shaina had went to the casino last night and stayed over at Rachels and worked this am at 9, she was home after her shift at 1:30. Quickly packed a bag for her big pre birthday celebration, her and her girl friends are heading to Banff for the night. She did take some time to help clean cat ^%&%$ from under the deck with Britt before she jetted off on her adventure just after 2. Have fun little miss!!
I flogged Britt out of bed by noon and had her put horses in the lawn area before her cat and dog cleanup. She then hauled all the pieces to the new trampoline over and began construction.
the rest of my day was spent outside trimming trees, pulling weeds, mowing some grass, below some of the poor butchered trees back to new growth

Sheldon spent part of the day working on the build outs for the rock on the front pillars. We also planted a few trees
tree on the left was $350 tree on right is $24.95... hail or not which is the better deal?
Showers, supper and relax, Sheldon was in bed sleeping by 9! Britt was up watching TV until 2 am!
