Nathan hospital visit

It was a beauty snow filled morning. Shaina was on her plane east early flying out at 7 am. She sent this photo out her window high above Saskatchewan at 8 am next to my shot. Harley had tongue today and really enjoyed it. She also took out an esophagus to chew on.

Kaylin trying to get ready for work and Renn to daycare, seems little miss found entertainment in the shower while waiting.

S was summoned to "work" by his primary AKA only employer to clear a path to some hay bales, finishing up at 10:30. I completed and published yesterday's blog. There might be a break in blog posts since I won't have my computers to edit, watermark, and compress while I'm in the city. I applied the first coat of paint to the custom coffee table.

He returned within an hour after completing his job. I wrapped up, took a shower, and then packed a bag to stay with Kaylin in the city. I also packed ingredients to make hamburger soup, extra burger, an apple crisp and some drinks. We finished the hamburger soup for lunch.

We set off for the city before 1, taking Highway #1 to the northern Home Depot to pick up some ruler wood (which it turns out I no longer needed right now, oh well). En route to the hospital, we stopped to order a Hawaiian pizza for Nathan, who is not enjoying the hospital food, and of course Sheldon got a deluxe pizza for himself. Our next stop was Tim Hortons to pick up drinks for everyone. S dropped me off at the hospital entrance with the food and beverages while he went to park. He's on the 11th floor, in unit 118, room 1118 – that's a lot of 1s and 8s. Kaylin was already there, having buzzed off the rest of his hair.

He was dressed and ready to head out on a walk around the hospital including the gift shop as the first stop. Sheldon bought himself and Nathan their favorited chocolate bar - an eat more. Nathan also got a journal to start writing about his experience. We took a walk to the entry of the new cancer centre too. Back in his tiny no window side room we visited a bit more, before heading out.

I accompanied Kaylin to learn how to pick up Renn from her daycare. She was thrilled to see us, and soon we were on our way to their house where S was waiting. For dinner, Renn asked for her favorite alphagetti and blueberries. S walked to the pho shop to pick up our dinner, which was delicious. Thanks to Britt for feeding Harley her dinner. After some time, S moved Shaina's jeep from the underground parking spot and parked my car, and then he went home as Renn was about to take her bath around 7:30 PM.

Renn was quickly moisturized, read stories, and fell asleep after an eventful day. Kaylin and I watched Queenpins, finishing just before 11 PM. I began watching the JonBenet cold case series but remembered my Spanish lesson. I couldn't break my streak on day 49, so I quickly completed it and then returned to the movie, watching until midnight.
