Queen dies

After watching Mcleod’s Daughters till 3 am I took a sleeping pill and slept till the usual 7:30. I made coffee before 8 with Mom join me for one before she was off to visit Dad before 9. It was cool out and the deck was damp when I fed H. S was up later to have his as I headed out to work on the projects. It was a cool day out today with a very hazy cover.  The stools had more touch ups on the black before I started working on adding transfers to the cabinet back pieces. 

A customer arrived around 11:30 to get some paint and pick up a few other projects I had for sale. I finished the transfers on the cabinet back boards then nailed them back in place before coming in to make a tuna sandwich. S was catching up on the news. Queen Elizabeth had died!!! WTH what a shocker but she is 96 I guess. After finishing the sandwich I was back out to paint more touchups on the chairs then back in to start hauling all the items upstairs to load in the cargo trailer later. More items were priced, tagged and added to the spreadsheet.

I picked a bag of fresh apples for Mom quick as Sheldon was sitting on the deck chatting On the phone. I was then off to town to meet Mom at Dad’s room to chat with Nurses next Door; a private service. Dad slept thru it all with an OT gal checking out his legs even but did wake for a short visit then back to sleep. Once it ended Mom and I walked to my car to fetch her apples then I was off picking up Cooper. A stop at the library and dr to pick up items for Sheldon then just a couple groceries before heading to the ranch at 4;30. I fed the dogs then prepped the pizza finally for supper.

S was home after 5 and ate pizza once it was cooked. I was working in the garage dark waxing the cabinet and doing yet even more touch ups on the stools. The dresser inside had the sides clear coated between loads of items taken out to the trailer. B was out to feed quick then took Cooper home. Finishing up my projects I headed out to soak in the hot tub for a bit, showered then ate a late supper yogurt fruit bowl while watching some more McLeod's Daughters. They have very long seasons with 30 + episodes per. S began reading the library book I picked up for him.
