This dog is a poop factory & howling winds

I had the usual restless clock watching night. The wind is howling and I have a headache. Poor Harley, I heard her whimper around 6 and a bit of shuffling and thought I smelt poop but thought seeing it was still dark we would wait till after 7 like usual. However when I did get up after 7:30 I found indeed she had pooped in her kennel. How I am not sure but she scooted out and laid by the door ashamed while I cleaned it up, leashed her up and headed out. She pooped again as soon as we got down the stairs and to the gravel, then peed on way across gravel and pooped again on grass. A few steps south on the grass another poop. Holy cow! Our next point of interest was to close J's food door, let him outside and the kittens out in the shop. As we made our way to the house she had a 4th poop!! In less then 15 minutes. Poor girl may not want to eat the piles of horse poop at night and I best make sure she poops before bed.

1/2 order of Breakfast was served in a dish then we came in to get my cappuccino and do a bit of updates and fold laundry while she ate her Kong with kibble, banana and sweet potato. Then it was back to garage for other half breakfast and me working on the tea cart with another coat of stain and touchups. I let H outside after 9:30 and she had another poop. I wonder if any of this food is being used or just passing thru :)

Time to get started on the cabinet. The filled areas were sanded and another coat of mud added. The top portion and drawer were painted in a warm white. H napped on her bed. At noon we came in for a bowl of soup.

I took H out at 12:30 in the hurricane winds for yet another poop. She was having a bit of an explore while I scooped all the piles when Cooper came bounding by again out of the blue. Britt had dropped him off on her way to Calgary for a massage. They played outside for a bit then we all came in. H got another treat in her kennel while Cooper whined for his Mom. I wrote a Hometalk post for the pink dresser.

Around 2 the sun came out but the heavy winds remained, it hit 20 but was 16 when I woke. Time to take out the restless natives. H had yet another poop, #6!! J was still whining so I put him in the shop and the dogs and I went off to the east pasture only to hear him behind us. I went to check the shop and found the back door had blown open snapping the heavy duty chain and providing his escape route. Luckily the kittens were upstairs. After a play H and I came in and rewrote yesterday's blog that never saved while Cooper chose to stay out. She was fast asleep.

Cooper came in at 4 and I tried to work 2 big dogs in a house quietly but they really wanted to play and if I put H in the kennel Coop would whine so I allowed them to go out for 2 short burst on their own with me hawk eyeing from the window. The second one had them running by where the horses where drinking. Of course they spooked and then nothing from the dogs. H then loped across the field in a wide loop when Bird and Roo moved towards her. I called from the barbeque deck and she came, yeah.

B was out after 4:30. She fed Bird and doctored a scab on her leg. I took H out again after 5 as my burger was cooking and she had poop #7. B played with her for a bit inside and we measured her at 25"H at the shoulders then B and C were off.

I finished my goulash and sautéed some fresh zucchini for a healthy yummy supper while catching some 6 o'clock news. I decided to finish painting the lower half of the cabinet but first had to sand the filled areas again. The dried top paint was sanded and the cart top paper bag sanded and moved inside. This was precarious task but I did it. I then managed to maneuver the beast of a cabinet onto the low painting table. Who needs a gym work out? Last but not least I hauled out the kids table, tightened the legs and scrubbed it up hoping to sand it tomorrow outside before this weather changes to cold next week.

there looked to be a bit of bleed thru so I shellaced the pretty border

I tried a different plan heading out before 8 to put J and the kittens away and give Har her last potty break and sure enough she did poop #8 and a pee. Hope we are good for the night. Inside to the kennel for her while I munched on an apple and caught up today's blog heading to bed at 8:30 once again. The wind continues to howl!!
