Paetz tribe visits

I donned my freshly washed housecoat to walk Lola only to have her spit pill slober all over it before our walk. We hiked to the pit and all looked good thankfully. Back to the deck for her and time for a cappuccino and marketing for me but first a half hour call to Weiser to finally get warranty replacement on our door handleset. I then spent some time in the garage prepping, cleaning and planning a new project.

At noon I was on the phone again with Weiser and saw Lola had gotten off the deck and off to her favorite poop area in the east paddock. She happily came back to the deck when I finished the call and went out. Good girl! Weeding, watering flowers and the garden and transferring a peony (wrong time I know) after I thought it was not coming up and a leaf showing to a sunny spot were next in the gorgeous sunshine.

Writing a tutorial for the beachy coffee table was my next task. The Paetz tribe stopped out at 3 for a visit, dog walk, horse pet, gem collecting and to borrow the first Harry Potter movie. It is always entertaining with this crew. They headed back to town at 4:30 and I finished off the tutorial. Super at 5 with the news was the last of the noodles.

this is our dog walking

some of the members were a bit slower feeling the heat and one never even came along (and he was the oldest LOL)

Clover really wanted to play with Lola but she was not in favor

Next up was visiting a horse or two and staying out of the paddock was not an option ;)

the cat wrangler at work, good thing he loves kids and being "mauled"

Lola and I took our 3rd walk then back at the deck after 7, the breeze kept most mosquitos at bay thank goodness. Britt and Cooper pulled in at 7:15, she did her horse things, grabbed our tall fan and was off at 8. I wrote a Hometalk post for the faux stone jewelry box. Then just for fun I spent 45 minutes with our internet provider who too increased their prices!!

hay is this tall and below was a few days ago but similar movement, improving I think

Lola got her 9 pm pill and around 9:30 I heard a bit of noise but looked out later to find her laying in the cool grass. I stepped out as she saw a herd of deer crossing to the east but she did stay when I said no to heading their way. Second time today she self managed getting herself off the deck and stay within the yard. Her rule sheet says no unsupervised off leash walking for a month yet, she must be advanced ;)

At 10 I put her in the garage for the night then crawled into bed to watch a couple 13 Reasons.
