Another trip to town

Wake up call at 7:45 from the vets to book Lola's xray, thanks hahaha. I played a few scrabble games then took her for her walk and onto the deck. Today is gonna be a hot one. Marketing and accounting with my caps before a quick shower.

can you see the rail from front window to truck box tailgate?

I had ordered a good food box from a local charity that pick up time was 12:30 so I backed the truck out of the shop loaded up Britt's super long railing, the stinky trash and a vase and was off to town. I picked up a cute wall décor piece on my way to B's. Cooper went out in the back yard and her grass is really coming along. As well her flowers look good and she added wood chips too. Her neighbor had a wooden shelf I loaded then off to get the food boxes. Wow you sure get allot for $22, #35 actually.

Parcel pick up which cost me duty crossing the border, dang. I tried to get an Opa wrap but the line was long so did my bank deposit and headed to Amanda's to drop off her food box. She offered a few peonies so cut them and on my way. THANK YOU!!

Lunch was picked up at DQ but required a 15 minute drive thru. I ate the burger on route home grabbing mail and tossing trash out. I was back home just before 2 to walk Lola quick then devour my blizzard. Unloading the fruit and veggie box was next on the list. It is a really good deal for $22 don't you think?

It was hot out at 28 so I brought the dog pool down from the mez and started to fill it. However the weather had a change in mind and started to really blow and cloud over. I unloaded the shelf and parked the truck back in the shop just in case it brings any hail. The rest of the day turned ugly. I stayed in and worked on computer stuff for a bit then tested the shelf with new stain and 2 others.

They are forecasting rain for next few days and the weeds in the island make me crazy. I went out and stained the whole shelf then got busy pulling them. I had to put a coat on as it had dropped to 20 now but warmed up with work. The wind did keep the mozzies away. I picked 3 tubs and fed to the horses. B and Coop were out at 7:30. She fed bird, put on her rain sheet then walked with Lola, Cooper and I then off for home after 8.

The wind let up as they left which was nice but not for the horses. I wrote a Hometalk post for the beachy coffee table and caught up the blog till now! Lola was sequestered to the garage at 10:30 then I watched another 13 reasons.
