the cold snap remains full force

Seems I am still on EST being wide awake at 6:40 am. It did give me time to finish the season of Mindhunters I guess, now hurry up season 2. I fit a couple cups of hot coffee in while watching too as it is still a deep freeze with an extreme cold warning out and -26 with a wind chill.

The sun did stay out most of the day and it did hit -19 LOL. I spent the day working on a project, the new antique dresser I got int he city before new years. I stripped and sanded the drawer fronts and top all down to bare wood, vacuum inside all the dust bunnies, gave it a good scrub washing away years of grime for a fresh start. Once it was all dry I put on first coat of stain/oil on the bare wood and mixed up milk paint for the body.

Six pm time to come in and catch some Nashville while updating the blog and such.I hopped into a warm bath with Nashville still playing. Around 8:30 I heard sounds on the deck off and on, once I jumped out and dried off I saw Sheldon had arrived back home and had been plugging in the truck. He went home thru the Hat bringing cinnamon buns from Momma K so I had to heat up one, THANKS it was yummy!

I was continuing with Nashville cozy and dozy when S thought he should get he cats in seeing it was still -25. He let Lola out to go along and being the work oriented girl she is, she was off to her task. He tried unsuccessfully to get her back in so eventually I went out and got her in but now that I was awake I stayed up till after midnight watching YouTube and another Nashville.
