Puppy search day

We had plans to head to Red Deer today so Britt could look at the puppy expo but once up (and finding the chinook indeed is rolling in as only -8) she decided maybe to stick around as a surgery might call her in. She also has a car estimate appointment at 10:30. Sheldon served us all including B who was snuggled in coming up with new plan our coffee then they ran to the car guy. But before they left as the car warmed, Britt trudged out to see her horses ;)

I worked on the dresser adding dark wax detailing, buffing and getting ready to haul inside. Once back, Sheldon helped me get it inside and once I got the drawers hauled in I got some pictures taken. I also had posted on FB for a puppy and found we had a dog expo in town so the 3 of us loaded up and ran to town at 12:30 and spent a couple hours visiting dogs. B found one she really liked but the couple ahead of us adopted her. B filled out the lengthy paperwork after finding there are a few brothers available.

The weather was beautiful now at 0 for most of the day. Going from -21 in the night to plus 1 was heaven for the horses I am thinking. Perfect for a steak barbecued supper.

S rolled out a bale for the horses quick while I worked on the coffee table trying to straighten parts. He helped me take it apart and trouble shoot. What was sold as a spinning table actually lifts to a dining height. Britt napped and headed back to the city before 7 catching only the ceasar salad portion of the supper.

Sheldon was off to the TV room for hockey following supper and I to a soak in the tub with my new tub tray and Netflix finishing The Red Tent. I moved on to Grey's once snuggled into my cozy bed.
