To get to Quebec City we went from a huge airbus holding 400 to a dash express that held less than 40 with a tarmac loading.. in the rain. This flight was quick, only 35 minutes. We took our first Uber to the hotel in the rainy drizzle. Hotel 71 did not disappoint.
outside our window we had a river view, most days there was a cruise ship of course to watch
We found a local restaurant, Cafe Buade and tried pouting for the first time, it was good. As was the local beer called belle gueule - meaning beautiful face .
Frontenac at night from lower town
We put on a few miles in the drizzle stopping aback at the hotel then setting off to a close pub for delicious appetizers and beverages before calling it a night around 11 (9 home time) Turns out the pub was in the Port Royal hotel I missed the great deal on.. next time ;)
this is art work on display at our hotel, check out what they are made from
