City tour day - loads of pictures

Slow start today Quebec time when I got us up at 9:30 remembering breakfast was over at 10. (Which really was 7:30 our usual MST time) We were down there in 15 minutes catching the tail end of it. The buffet had fruit salad, yogurt, granola cereal, breads/bagels, meat and cheeses, nuts with any fancy coffee or juices. Now to head out to see more of the city.

and we had to try the Funiculaire just once.. quick few seconds for $6

buskers everywhere, this is Mona and Lisa but you cannot pet, they are working dogs :)

 The weather was not quite as warm as forecast but we checked out lots before stopping at a really cool pub just down the street from our hotel. Inside it was like a brick vault. 

A quick stop at the hotel had me changing into runners after my boots had given me blisters before we headed off again to see more.

 This time we ended up on a main drag and actually found the provincial liquor store (called SAQ if you ever are looking) for Bailey's, score. We stopped at a favorite spot (Louise's) for happy hour beers and this time trying the entire appetizer platter, yum.

Back at the hotel we relaxed the rest of the evening away and enjoyed Miss Vicky's and coconut clusters I packed along with our coffee.
