866 - Shaina gets the flu

Day 866 I had an early Monday as I covered reception at work as both Coreena and Sharon are golfing in a work tournament today. The morning started sunny but windy and eventually the wind subsided. It was an ok work day but very lonely and quiet with so many golfing. At lunch I ran errands picking up the shelf I could not fit in with the buffet, a small chair, a wood picture frame as well as tour a trailer the fellow said had lots of furniture for free. It was however more like a hoarders moved horror. There was not one thing really worth taking and so filthy, sadly they had lived there and just moved a manufactured home right beside it.

Back in town I quickly grabbed Opa for lunch and ate it back at work. Once finished at 3:30 I ventured home in the sunshine. The day was gorgeous in the high 20's. Kaylin said she just hung out snacking and enjoying her day off.  She had just left for her apartment before I got home and Shaina was in bed sick. She had rode a horse earlier but the flu hit after lunch and she spent the rest of the day feeling terrible. Britt worked after school so basically it was just me and I enjoyed a supper of fresh corn on the cob and 3 brownies.. heh they have zucchini in them!

I spent my time updating the blog and Facebook with baptism photos as well as unload and snap shots of my recent acquisitions. I put the lazy susan together after polishing but have yet to stage it. Britt was finished work around 8:30 and did some studying before bed. Or at least she was supposed to :-)

todays purchases to left, and treasures from Mom, the cute little crates she used for a storage unit and step stool forever in her growing up bedroom, seems I get my creative recycle genes from my Grandma Ball!!
