Wedding Day Part 3 - The Supper and Celebration

Now that Kaylin and Nathan are officially married (part 1) after they had professional photos taken (part 2), it was time to eat and celebrate. Fun photos were taken during the evening in the Photo Booth (part 4).  We loaded up again in our truck, girls in the back with Amanda sitting beside Renn this time to avoid car sickness, and Sheldon gave us an epic, memorable ride to the Schmitt’s.

Once there, it was all hands on deck—lights on, tables arranged, candles lit. Steph and Brady had the tables beautifully set, so only a few tweaks were needed. The bar tender was ready, the bouquet went into the light box, and food, cake, and the candy bar were set out. The Photo Booth came to life, coolers filled with 180 pounds of ice, and the space looked absolutely magical.

The retro telephone was the audio guestbook and matches a take home treat. The throwing bouquet awaits its turn and the delicious chocolate wedding cake with cookies and creme filling.

While things were being set up, Little Miss enjoyed some “iPad” time.  It’s been a long day, and there’s still more to come.

This is a very long and photo filled post, enjoy!

The custom created drinks with real garnishes were sooo delicious and the floral center piece looks amazing in the bar light box.

Head table awaiting the  guests of hour

Of course Renn requested her favourite food for supper ...

but lets lose the dress for this part.

Her side eye looks crack everyone up.

Candles were lit to add to the ambiance of the Bohemian themed garden supper to come.

The wedding party arrived around 8:30 after their photo shoot on Fremont Street and at the Las Vegas sign. Renn proudly did her official flower girl duties, tossing petals like a pro. The party was in full swing—music, dancing, laughter, cocktails, and an abundance of joy.

Now for Renn's really big dance moves

Shoes were changed to comfy ones ready for a night of fun.

So much delicious food to choose from
pulled pork or chicken buns
devilled eggs, rainbow fruit and veggies,

Renn loved the sparkly hat from the Photo Booth

The Photo Booth was lined up most of the night with so many awesome photos. I will make a post #4 just for them as well but here are a couple favourites of mine.

Best man Derek

Toasts by the maid of honour Shaina and best man Derek

Derek speech was a little longer than blog limit allows but was heartfelt as well.

“How Well Do the Bride & Groom Know Each Other?” game had everyone cheering.

These two dancers “cut a rug” or should I say caught a lot of air while spin dancing.

The cake was cut after 11 for all to enjoy, musical chairs brought plenty of laughs, Shaina caught the bouquet with a spectacular leap, and the candy bar was enjoyed (especially by Renn!), and the night rolled on.

And Harley was requested to join the party for a short time

There were many celebratory shots taken as well throughout the evening

This one didn't seem to have a good reaction LOL

Harley tried her "paws" at dancing too before heading back to bed when I put Renn down for the night after a fun action packed day.

As the night wore on, some celebrating guests gradually made their way back to their hotels, the festivities continuing for many into the early morning.

By 3:45, the wedding party caught an Uber home, with a few overnight guests claiming cots in Deb’s extra room—Kale even headed straight for the airport after just an hour of sleep!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the setup, decorating, food prep, and loaning tables and games. HUGE thanks to the Schmitt family for their hospitality and endless generosity. I’ve probably missed many things, however I truly appreciate everyone who made the trip to celebrate this special couple. You are all loved and valued! XOXOXO

What an absolutely beautiful day celebrating two amazing people. You are so loved, Kaylin and Nathan — wishing you a long, happy, laughter-and-love-filled married life together. ❤️
