Multi celebration day

Today is a day of celebration - wishing a Happy Father's Day to all Dads here and gone, a joyful birthday to Travis, a wonderful 34th anniversary to us, and a blessed confirmation to Asher.

Another brisk morning greeted us, with the rain leading to the cancellation of the children's ball tournaments. Over coffee with Mom and S enjoying porridge, S checked the gauge before we all departed for church; it read 1 6/10, an increase of 4/10 since the last check. Travis chauffeured us to the new church for the 9:30 service. With the rain and it being the church's first regular service, it was filled to capacity. Thankfully, Amanda had reserved seats for us. Asher, along with about thirty others, was confirmed into the Catholic Church by a bishop. Following the service, there were photos and very limited snacks left before heading to the Paetz's for a BBQ.

It was a lovely afternoon of visiting (with rain off and on) before we headed back to the ranch around 4:30. Britt had been out to tend to the horses and had let the dogs out as well. Travis was off to the city, leaving Mom, S, and me visiting. We headed back to town at 6:30. Mom took Tim to Amanda's, then joined us at the Roadhouse for a celebratory supper. Britt arrived next, followed by Travis returning from the city and Dave from a very successful day of racing. Thanks for the celebration supper Mom! XOXO

The restaurant was bustling on Father's Day, which meant the service was slower than usual. We concluded our meal with a birthday song and a piece of cheesecake for TJ to take home after 8. After saying our goodbyes, we all went our separate ways. B asked me to put Roo's grazing mask on once home.

I finished the season finale of Bridgerton with S watching too. I started a new show called Dancing For the Devil - The 7M TikTok cult while S slept before lights out
