Xmas Eve Dec 24 - 23

B arrived with her pets. I ran to town after 10 to get some last minute groceries, booze and gifts. I also picked up a lovely bouquet of flowers from Ma and Pa K. While I was gone, S bathed Harley ready for company and Christmas. B filled the closest shelter and area around with straw. Seems they liked that.

I threw in some pizzas for lunch. The Calgary crew arrived after lunch. Dave not long after too with LOADS of food!!! He is quite the chef. It's Renn's first Christmas!! She certainly makes the sad holidays much more enjoyable for everyone. XOXO

Our traditional fresh oyster soup was made for supper. Cheers to Dad and Grandpa Ball who were big fans of this tradition. Some skipped the soup and had other options and treats.

Cards were played, puzzle was worked on and lots of snacks ate. Britt, Dave and Cooper headed off after 11. S, S, K and I played cards till after midnight before off to bed. I of course had to read a bit before lights out.
