Paetz game night

There was a flurry of light snow when I let H out at 5 am but gone once we woke. After a reviving shower it was time to prep for Xmas guests. The fridge was cleaned out, our bedding changed, more vacuuming The nativity was set up.

We moved Britt’s greenhouse plants to the square dining table I have for sale. The ping pong table was wiped ready for games. Floor was tidied and stuff moved to storage. Pool can now be played as well.

B and Cooper arrived. She had leftover Chinese then got to her mountain of laundry. S headed to town for day 3 of hockey. B helped me change sheets in Shaina's room as well as her own. She also went out and hauled straw for bedding in and around the closest shelter.

B ran to town to do errands. I worked on more photo capturing, editing and uploading. B was back just before S, was back with some groceries inc fresh oysters. He changed clothes quick. We jumped in the truck and headed into Paetz’s. AJ had made homemade pizza for supper for us. THANK YOU! While it cooked we enjoyed snacks.

The evening was full of games including a new rubber dart game. Shaina joined us too. She watched zombie movies with the 2 littles Britt and Ada did 2 puzzles. The big boys got into smoking whiskey. This led to a whole bottle along with other liquids- butter ripple schnapps, port wine. Shaina tried smoking the wine too. This led to quite the game of darts between the 2 fellows.

She actually enjoyed it. After smoking the whole bottle of old fashioned whiskey they tried butter brickle schnapps, some port and a few other heels from the liquor cupboard.

Thanks for the fun evening Paetz's!! XOXO Britt drove us home after midnight with Shaina following in her jeep. B loaded Cooper and Gully and headed off. Shaina was off to her room. S was soon asleep while I read.
